The best running back I ever watched run the rock live in Tiger Stadium. Take Spikes wanted no more of the Diesel in 98.

Another advantage that Guice has is elite vision. LF is no Trent Richardson, but let's say his vision isn't a strengt

And this right here lets me kmow youre just regurgitating bullshite rant posts made be football ignorant people.

Scouting report #1.
quote:

He's able to locate his burst quickly, which helps him get around the corner faster than most backs we've seen at his size. He has become more subtle with some of his cuts and is less likely to gear down as much as we saw when he was younger. Leonard Fournette's physical gifts aren't his best attribute. He is the rare back with great vision and the ability to find cutback lanes.

Scouting report #2
quote:

The obvious -- height, weight and speed. He has rare physical traits for the position. He is ultra-explosive and also has a natural gift as a runner. His excellent vision allows him to find creases and attacks the hole with ferocity.

scouting report #3
quote:

Strengths:
Explosive
Elusive; has moves in the open field to dodge blockers
Fast; can break off long touchdown runs
Threat to score on any carry
Rare acceleration
Tough, physical runner
Power back who can run over defenders
Excellent vision
Great feet
Cutting ability
Can return kicks
Ideal build and size
Gets lots of yards after contact
Finishes runs well
Ideal build and size
Burst to the hole
Has great straight-line speed to pull away from defenders
Shiftiness; will juke defenders
Nice hands
Receiving ability
Willing blocker in blitz pickup with potential to be very good
Hard-nosed runner between the tackles
Has a nose for the end zone
Wears down defenses
Excellent knee bend

scouting report #4
quote:

Great vision between the tackles on gap scheme plays.

THATS THE FIRST 4 SCOUTING REPORTS ON LF.

When you question LF'S vision youre just letting everyone know that youre regurgitating bullshite rant posts.
No scout has ever said his vision is questionable. They all say its a strength.

Have you read a single scouting report?

LF strength is his lateral movements and jump cuts.
Ill take the word of people paid to evaluate talent over some anonymous poster on here.

Hurl childish insults all you want. I still take our CURRENT record holder for yards in a game.

I asked if you have read 1 scouting report.

Also, guice needed 37 carries to break a record lf set with 16 carries.

Perma ban bet on who gets drafted higher?

Faulk was not a great nfl back? Are you serious? He had over 12,000 all purpose yards.

again good not great. Sproles is a great back. 18K in 10 seasons. 2700 total in a single season .

Yeah, I am not even going to bother what the other 4 replies to you even are. Off my memory:

170 and change against a stingy MSU team
230 and change vs Auburn
1st hand-off from game vs Akron was a TD
Injured 1st half of Vandy -- btw an exceptional defensive team.

You saying he is over-hyped is as equal as saying he never got a chance to dominate. C'mon Rickdaddy...that dude was the LA state rushing recorder in 95 and 96 by a long shot. We knew he would have been special...and oh, to see him against Florida that season. Would we have beaten them worse? Lost to Ole Miss?

The problem is that he is in a SW LA shithole town like Leesville and just like places like Oberlin, DeRidder, Iowa, and Eunice, that town has NOTHING to do but have sex and be good at a sport. That's it. You are not considered talented working for Dairy Queen...no matter how many correct steak finger baskets you ring up. Cecil DID have football; also, he had a lust for women that led to such dumb-arse behavior, that it's unthinkable. He's the only one to blame, but he had NOTHING to do in that town once football season ended (aside from weight/off-season training).

But man, that Auburn game? Hard to argue with that one.

They were 7-4 and gave up 27 points to (5-7)kentucky and 28 points to(5-6) central Florida.

Stingy my arse.

Like i said. 4 good games against 3 scrubs and auburn.

Great game. 10th in lsu history in rushing yards for a single game.

Cecil wasn't Jack sh** compared to modern day LSU backs. Watch the highlights. Unreal. Anyone who thinks him or Faulk were worth a damn are jokes. Our competition got way better , so did we. Don't point out the 3 star days in a 5 star world.

LSU has been letting Billy Cannon hang around the program for years. You have a problem with that?

Lol Cannon printed money. Collins broke into women's apartments wearing nothing but his jersey. Sorry if you can't see the difference.

I have been watching the Tigers since 1973 and the two best LSU RBS are Diesel and Fournette. Guice and Faulk are in the discussion but the top 2 are in another league.

I know who will get drafted higher. Maybe you didn't read, but I said LF will likely be the better NFL back because of his physicality, and therefore a higher pick.

That doesn't matter to me. Guice having a better season than LF in 2015 next year is what's relevant, and what I believe is going to happen. frick your stupid arse ban bet, but put money on that. Also put money on Bama not being able to completely neutralize him. A guy like Guice can do more with an O Line that can't open a massive hole against their defense.

You said i hurled childish insults because i asked if you read any of LF'S scouting reports.
LF lateral movement and jump cuts are one of his strengths.

He will not have 162.8 rushing yards per game which is the 2nd most in sec history. LF was the first sec rb to lead the ncaa in rushing since 1949.

This year's bama team wouldve neutralized him. So would last year's.
quote:

If this were true Guice would be the more coveted nfl back. A rb that can create without a good oline is somehow not a better nfl prospect? Yeah right.
