mcmillan was really an iffy offer in the first place by the previous offensive braintrust. heck, he split QB1 duties his senior yea with an underclassman i believe.

If McMillan is our starting QB then things have gone horribly wrong.

Ricky is the most athletic Jefferson. I’ll say this, Justin runs really clean routes. He gets in and out of cuts very well.
I'm thinking Sullivan is loving his, for lack of a better term, attention to detail regarding the position. The little things matter, cuts, routes, reads... all matter. If you do them well enough it has more impact than pure athleticism.

And to say it again, such is what we were missing at the position anyway. IN PART, it was a limiting factor for Etling. His late throws were in part due to his own mental hangup (throw receiver open) but also, in part, due to many times expecting a WR to be at point A at time point B, and never finding them because they weren't there.

Drake Davis should move to CB.

With his athleticism and height, he could make ALOT of money.

Go check out his soccer videos on Instagram. Kid has the hips to play CB.

Mike D just said the other day that Drake Davis is still very raw, so that doesn't bold well for him being the fact he is a JR already.

Hey y'all remember when Coach O moved Russell Gage to WR and named him the starter? Yeah I do because people freaked the frick out!

If Justin Jefferson is our number 2 we are screwed an none of those receivers we got to come here from high school were any good.

"Drake Davis has all-world potential", as I have read here from the time he was in high school.
And, thus is shall always be, according to what we have seen so far.

In College, athleticism rules. That doesn't mean the little things don't matter. But, I'm hoping we have someone on the roster that can win athletically. Looking at the roster, it's probably going to have to be Giles. I had high hopes for Dee Anderson. When watching the WRs play, he looks like the most talented to me.

They need to cleanup the 2018 Spring Football Roster; still shows Jacoby Stevens as a WR, although his move back to S has already happened.

Of course, you have never watched him at Destrehan or the LSU camps. There is video all over the internet of him in those settings that shows he's a baller.

But I still think Jamarr Chase will be our best receiver come the fall. He's that good. He's Jefferson's route running in a 200 lb body.

Ricky would have been even higher rated if not for a torn ACL junior year in HS.

For the record, I don't even think Coach 0 knows what the heck he's talking about. He's still insisting on moving one of his best safety/athlete recruits to WR, a position we have plenty of depth in.

I think you are a hating nega Tiger. Jefferson is very athletic and tough and has a shot starting. WR is the deepest position on the team, and we have a ton of talent and our three prize recruits are not yet making an impact. I think O is telling the truth on who is performing.

Justin Jefferson saw the field a lot last year which told me a lot about him he’s a very good route running he can break you down.. Drake is just a good athlete he’s a project and unfortunately he has 2 years to get it right but I see him transferring with the receiver talent we have on this roster
