They are currently 15-7 and 4-5 in the SEC.
I think she earned another year or two if next year isn't a disaster.
What do y'all think?

I say let this season play out and then decide. I'll bet Aleva keeps her so he can concentrate on replacing Johnny Jones.

Too early to tell, still have 7 games left. But she has only won 7 of her last 26 conference games.

44 - 45 in SEC play (as of today) including a 3 - 13 clip last season with 6 healthy players, but ok.

i think it's time as well but i don't know if firing both the men's' and women's coach in the same year is in the cards.

Supposedly she has one of top recruiting classes coming in

She's not going to be fired. They are going to make the tournament, get a strong nucleus back, and brings in a top 20 class

I've been really hard on fargas for years, but she technically doesn't deserve to be fired this season

It's more like "Johnny Jones saved Nikki Fargas' job this year."

There is no way Alleva would fire the men's and women's basketball coaches in the same season.

It's even more absurd that people think alleva would fire both the football and basketball coaches mid season.

Fargas is doing well enough, and her buyout simply isn't worth the return anyway

The only reason she's still here is Joe Alleva. The man has a remarkable love for mediocrity and tolerance for incompetence.

The only reason the team has improved a little is due to DeMoss coming over from Tennessee.

Caldwell-Fargas is the most wretched excess over paid Head Coach in college sports today; would've been terminated several years ago with most any other Athletic Director, but Alleva just lets the mediocrity drag on and on and on................

She was going to be fired this season if she repeated last season, but she hasn't. I'm not sure how this is difficult to comprehend

The $1.9 million we are paying Les Miles annually is going to influence what other coaches stay or are fired.

16 TO by Bama in the first half and up by only 1. Very good d. Mickie DeMoss.

Through the first 22 games:

2017: 15-7 (4-5 SEC) All losses to RPI Top 25 Teams

2016: 8-14 (2-7 SEC) Losses to Maine, Samford, and Wake Forest

But by all means, kudos to you if you think they are only a little better because of the addition of DeMoss, who came over from Louisiana Tech and has not been at Tennessee since 2012.

Johnny Jones saved Nikki Fargas's job this year. They're not good but they're not a complete dumpster fire

They doubled their win total from last season to this point, and you're saying that's only a slight improvement? That doesn't make any sense, but okay

Alleva probably won't replace either one.
