How could he not notice 2 AR15s and a Draco (looks similar to an AK47) inside his own dorm? There’s no way his guests would have been able to hide that kind of firepower.
It’s not like they would be walking around with the guns slung over their shoulders. They would have probably hidden them in a duffel bag.
Was the murder weapon even one of the ones they found? If his friends had any sense, they probably filed the serial #’s off, scrubbed any finger prints, and dumped it a long time ago. They still need to prove the murder before they get to JT.

I don't think most of these guys are the brightest bulb in the pack.

so just disregard gun free zone? Hey man, no serial numbers, so we cool...all they got is some guns and 2 guys wanted for Murder hanging out at his pad. He had absolutely no idea. Is that our line of reasoning?

Are we talking about the guns being there or the people being there? Because originally you said it was the people. He is doesn’t have any gun charges against him as far as I know.

2 to 1 says his fingerprints are all over the guns. End of story. He gone!
Of course, he could just get probation. We'll see......

He’s between a rock and a hard place. He can’t testify against the two for leniency because he has to stick to his own story of not knowing so that he can try to salvage a football career. Telling the truth or lying both end in him never playing at LSU.

For what it's worth, I have put two AR15s in my backpack before and closed it. Most are built so the upper and lower can easily come apart, and depending on barrel length, can relatively easily fit in a backpack. Dracos aren't that large either.
Not saying that occurred, I really have no idea and assuming they just killed someone they probably want those suckers ready to rock and roll, but it is definitely feasible.

I haven't seen any charges related to the guns found in his dorm room either.
I went to the Facebook page of the local news station to look at comments under the stories. There are many from folks who know him and his family. There are also many from folks whose kids went to school with him. All of those said he was good respectful boy who hasn't been in any kind of trouble. They mention that he comes from a good family and the family mentioned are his mom and brother, so it sounds like there isn't a father in his life.
From the folks that knew him, it seems this is a good kid who made a very poor decision that may, sadly, affect his future in a very negative way. It's hard to swallow that he didn't know these guys were wanted for murder.
He may have been a football practice when they were arrested, but he wasn't away the entire time they were staying in his dorm room. They were there for nearly two weeks.

This true and at this point they have proof. The suspects were found to be living in his residence and the weapons were found in his residence. It is on him and his legal team to prove that evidence is invalid.

I'll never understand the choices these kids make.
Many are mental midgets for the most part . Zero common sense, zero realization of consequences. It’s a cruel life lesson and could easily be pissing away his one chance.

Ask yourself this if 2 buddies show up at your house with a couple of AR15 a Draco and a Glock would you know it? Of course he knew it.

Dorms are gun free zones; that only applies to the good guys. Thugs can have them.
Posted on 8/10/25 at 12:13 pm to Crappieman
The better question is if he didn't know why would you want a blind running back?
Posted on 8/10/25 at 12:34 pm to Willie Stroker
Could have been in a duffle bag.

You could fit all of that in a duffle bag.
Lindsey just had to be willing to not question why hood rat teenagers own a duffle bag.

We need to make darn sure our RBs don’t room together - just to be safe.

Exactly.
Law has to prove that Lindsey knew about it.
But as we're seeing with the Holly case, prosecutors will use time against football players to try and win a case.
Lindsey has a timer on him. The court can push this back for years and take football away from him forever.

There are cameras everywhere. If he talked with them, it will be on camera. BRPD will get the footage unless LSU deleted it by now.
