Don’t feel like Joe Sloan‘s the architecture of the Kentucky offense and I think he was the fall guy for the Brian Kelly Offense.

Somewhere in the middle is the truth

Don’t fool yourself

Stein is brains behind Kentucky’s offense. Sloan is just along for the ride

Brian Kelly was honestly such a fricking piece of shite. He clearly promoted Sloan because he knew he didn’t have the roster to win big in his last season, so he could fire him and save another season. It’s why he made sure to scream at him on camera in the A&M game. shite just blew up too badly for him

The offensive line was bad and the QB was hurt. No offensive coordinator can overcome that combination.

His offense was terrible and play calling was just as bad.

Toss dive was more creative than the running plays Sloan designed.

BK was such a bad hire we will never really know…. I can’t believe we have to pay that idiot 54 million to get rid of him.

You’re scoreboard watching

Kentucky had 230 yards of offense last night.

Sloan was terrible last year.

He’s partly responsible because he helped recruit, but he was also a casualty of a horrific OL.

For the last fricking time, this is not Joe Sloan's offense, nor is he the one in charge of everything. He is a glorified QB coach in KY. He is good at that part, but cannot be trusted to run the offense on his own.

He was pitiful here at being the OC, but pretty good at coaching the QB when he had a strong OC over him. I am glad he is gone.

He was undefeated against Kentucky to be fair.

I think he is probably better than he looked under BK and probably not as good as he looks under Will Stein.

The whole thing with Kelly was that he was checked out and uninvolved.

Sloan was demoted in his only other play calling gig. Sloan is just bad.

Depends.

Whose fault was it that…

Nussmeier showed no growth his last two seasons

The offense was so predictable that Florida’s LBs were literally pointing to where the ball was going

The offense couldn’t get a third down and short conversation or a redzone TD

Etc. etc.

It can’t all be on Kelly.

Nuss was hurt and they kept running him out there. Nuss of the year before with that defense last year would have been good enough to have BK keep his job. Pick your poison

Four interceptions by Kentucky had nothing to do with Joe Sloan
