Did JBE say if it would be 25% and no tailgating for the entire year?

"By reducing the capacity and taking a year off from tailgating..."

A year off? Who is to say we can't have more than 25% and some tailgating in November/December? My god.

Just go set up a spot and see what happens.

You thought this was gonna be a week to week thing? Only thing week to week is if there’ll be games. I mean, cmon, it’s JBE

And when tailgating “comes back” it will be controlled, regulated, and sold parcel by parcel. They are taking away your rights just to sell them back to you, and will destroy their own product in the process. The LSU Administration is the perfect example of penny wise, but a pound foolish.

We are likely to see a large wave of Covid in the fall. I think most rational people realize this.

I don’t understand how anyone can still be under the delusion that tailgating is happening this season.

At this point everyone should be prepared to ride out a shitty season without it. If you’re not by now, that’s on you (I don’t mean OP specifically, just anyone who was still holding out hope).

This is exactly what I’m afraid of happening. I’m sure plenty of people won’t even show up anymore after all this. Also I’m sure the number of paid lots will increase. LSU’s culture as we know it is likely on life support as we go forward.

Woodward said that stadium capacity could be adjusted (up or down) as the season progresses.

First it was a large wave when workers returned to work, then it was a large wave when schools open, etc. The goal posts keep moving, I guess you'll be right one day.

So which suites do JBE and his cronies get for this year?

You know damn well he included himself and his posse for every home game. So probably 24,900 season ticket holders will be getting phone calls

So fricking what if we see a large wave of covid. It will be harmless to the vast majority and lethal to a few of the weak just like every other respiratory virus. There is no hiding from this, it’s not going away so continue life as normal.

The Alabama game (Nov. 14) is after the election (Nov. 3), so you can pretty much bet the house that the stadium will be completely full and the entire f*cking campus will be full of tailgaters. There will probably be upwards of 200K outside the stadium watching the game at their tailgates.

This is ALL ABOUT Politics.

They've been wanting to do this for years....this gives them the opportunity they need to truly monetize tailgating.....at least on campus.
