Doesn’t this require a reservation to get seats at The Book? Or is there a lot of LSU fans just congregating there.
Sounds good. Thanks man

Saints fan watch parties in Vegas?

Posted by Fortinbras on 9/14/20 at 6:43 pm
Obviously not as many saints fans heading to Vegas next weekend with no fans in the stadium. But was wondering if you guys heard of any place where Saints fans may be congregating to watch the game in Vegas? I.e a certain casino/hotel, sportsbook, or bar somewhere near the strip.

Thanks in advance.
At least 30 NCAA and NFL stadiums will have had at least 20k+ fans in attendance this weekend, with more following suit the next weeks as well. If cases continue their downward trajectory through this, hopefully he can gradually increase the capacity and push the envelope a bit.

I would hate for the governors to get comfortable with this and stick with it for the rest of the season. Like if cases are still down 6 weeks from now after there have been hundreds of games with fans in attendance, I find it ridiculous that adding more fans and sparse tailgating around campus wouldn’t be allowed. This also goes for other SEC schools. If cases continue declining at this same rate, we’ll be at pre April levels by mid October. As much as it helps us to not have fans at Auburn and UF when we play. How fricking depressing will it be watching that huge matchup with 1/4th of the stadium filled. Just wishing that they’ll look at this with some basic logic and not be petrified of the corona virus fear mongerers screeching when they suggest 70% capacity.
"By reducing the capacity and taking a year off from tailgating..."

A year off? Who is to say we can't have more than 25% and some tailgating in November/December? My god.
Bookmaker (CRIS): Trump -105 / -111 Biden

BetOnline: Trump -110 / -110 Biden

No vig implied odds for Trump

I've chosen to use these books as they have the highest limits and lowest Margin for this election. Bookmaker is taking 10k, and BOL taking 2.5k. I see people cite Bovada on here, but really not worth citing a book that's only taking $50 limits on political futures where virtually any square can move the line.

Pre-convention trump was +115 on BM and +125 on BOL. I've usually found that polls usually trail betting odds so I would expect polls coming out next week to tighten and Trump's losing in the polls to lessen.

On a personal opinion, if you're a Biden/Dem supporter, this is not where you want to be with still a month before the first debate. Biden will need a big a lead as possible going into October and if they are roughly even-ish going into the first debate, I think Biden will be a decently sized dog (+135ish) going into the election.

He had a warrant out for his arrest for raping a 13/14 year old girl, yes. In all seriousness, I don't know why people are dying on a hill for this fricking pedophile.
Just curious, since that's the precedent we're now setting.
True. But I would say the difference is that the assumptions in that imperial model were just poor.

In this case, many of the errors are straight up statistical impossibilities.

Tough scene for the BIG 10. Kevin Warren is an absolute disaster. Any chance they reconsider their decision because of this?
Don't understand the point of this. Could vastly improve your stock by training with the team all fall and and get way more visibility starting at nickel/CB. If he was going to do this he should've just left after last season ended.
Big 12 has left open the possibility of playing an outer conference game? I never understood the intra conference only idea that the SEC implemented. So UT can travel all the way to West Virginia and Iowa but not take the 1 hr flight to Baton Rouge? SC can take a 3hr flight to BR but not a 1.5 hr drive to Clemson?

I'm obviously happy these conferences have elected to move on with the season, but they could really take advantage of the spotlight they have and do some unique outer conference games to kick off the season. The SEC copycatted the conference only idea from the BIG 10 who is so obviously now incompetent. They should re-evaluate that decision that clearly has no logic behind it other than to pander to the blue checkmarks that they are taking all precautions to keep student athletes safe.

What is the purpose of the non-conference game comment? Are they expecting to revive outer conference play with the SEC or are they leaving open the possibility of a school from the big 10 coming in? Didn't understand that.
If the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 decide to go at it and have a season together, I think the Big 10 is done for. Head coaches or officials from Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan have already said they would seriously consider playing outside the Big 10 if they were to cancel.

Could you imagine how bad that would look for them if the other 3 conferences (besides Pac 12) played a full, successful season without them? I wonder how many schools would simply leave the conference for good. From what I have been hearing apparently the BIG 10 commissioner doesn’t give a shite about the conference and is focused on being the NFL commissioner one day. Good luck with that. What an absolute disaster for them.

They will spread it much more if they are hanging around in their own neighborhoods/around campus while not quarantining.

I think at the end of the day he wants to play, but it’s clear he thinks it is somehow more safe for football to not go on this fall.

Sort of wish someone would open a computer in a front of him and show him basic data from the CDC that shows kids his age are more likely to die in a lightning strike or driving to campus than they are from covid.
Didn’t take Brennan for a lib
This is what I immediately thought of when I saw Dan Patrick's tweet about the SEC looking get teams to join them (likely from the Big 12, ACC, and a few from the BIG 10). If this were to happen obviously schedules would be re-done.
Is he going to need to play 3 minute quarters every time he takes a week off? Surely that can’t be the precedent being set.

After all the progress and rest he’s had over 5 months, it got wiped by not playing with the team for what 12 days? That is honestly just not believable.
