I think its in relation to him saying earlier that Bama is not just playing Auburn, they are playing Okie State too.

Maybe he thinks that Bama has to beat Auburn and put on a show at the same time that makes them look better than Oklahoma State?

I think he said earlier something like bama was playing against ok st, va tech, stanford as well in context of bcs position

What he meant was that Bama is playing for style points right now to sway the voters, so in essence, they're "playing" Ok State.
So he's saying that Bama needs to worry about beating Auburn before playing for style points.

Well, he earlier said that Bama was playing all the teams that they're competing with for #2 (OK State, Stanford, Va Tech)...I think that's what he meant.

He said they are playing AGAINST Oklahoma State for the #2 spot genius. He was referencing the Style Points aspect of this game.
