Did anyone else who attended the game think Alabama fans were nastier than usual?

Most of the Alabama fans on the SEC Rant are an anomaly. 25 to 30 percent are good folk. The rest are illiterate trolls who could not find Tuscaloosa on a map.

But generally in real life most are ok. And typically their fans at BDS either ignore you--- which is fine or are decent with the exception of idiots all fan bases had.

Last night most were just nasty, like some WWE crowd.Rude, vulgar and confrontational. Never had seen this before. After the game,at least, one Bama couple loudly berated two losers for sucker punching two LSU fans.

Did anyone else have issues or was it just in the NE EZ?

Most of them don't have anything good in their li especially besides Alabama football.

Losing last year hurt them.

They realize their dominance is coming to an end, they hyped this game up and some revenge gamete cause Kelly best them last season.

They are seeing the decline and aren't happy about it. It will only get worse

There’s hostility in their demeanor. The only other place I’ve experienced this was at Arkansas but from non-student types (plant baws). Hostile Bama fans look like former student/greek types. I did have some Bama fans sitting next to me who were very nice, they were from Georgia and their kids went to Bama.

If 8-1 and controlling its own destiny in the SEC west is a decline, I’d take that over the crap LSU is showing right now.

Bama fans from Alabama are usually fine people.

Bama fans that were born and raised in LA are usually complete bitches

I’ve been a Louisiana football fan for 45 years or so. (Saints for as long as I can remember and switched from my family’s MSU loyalty to LSU around age 12), but I honestly have zero desire to go to anything but championship or bowl games these days, outside BR. Too old. I’ve been to every SECCG and had a blast even the losses.

Last road game was in Green Bay and even those cheesenecks were too much.

We inhabit the age of irresponsibility and self-idolatry.

Saban even said after the game that they wanted to make a statement. Well, apparently it worked because the media is now fully embracing them as a NC contender, while BK has established himself as a pretender once again.

BK needs to re-think his entire philosophy.

I went and did not see any difference between our fanbase and theirs in regards to nastiness. Yes there will always be the drunktards.

I'm starting to agree. What worked for him at ND is not going to work in the SEC.

Who's going to stop them other than UGA? With Kelly, we may beat them once in a blue moon, but most seasons it will be business as usual and this game will be an automatic loss.

They know their window with Saban is closing and they will drop back to what they were between 1982 and 2007.

Erratic results and maybe a championship.

I think it’s this year or next for Saban before he hangs it up.
