Khalil Mack is not an ILB

He is an edge rusher.

He played DE too

The NFL is a passing league. QBs, Pass Rushera And Pass blockers are the high end guys with obviously exceptions here and there for just out of this world players.

Outside line backer does not equal inside line backer.

And you can absolutely find inside LBs going top 10, which is why I said "typically."

No, as much as I selfishly want him to stay it would be devastating if injured and a poor business decision to stay. If he is top 5 you have no choice you must go. If you are 1st round you must go.

If this dude comes back and tears up his knee, it's going to be the most depressing LSU sports story (outside of the murder) in a long, long time.

Correct, he Transitioned to an Outside Lineback/Edge Rusher in the league but thats not what he was in college :/

Inside Linebacker (ILB)

Do you read anything? I said he could go anywhere in the first round, and was pretty much a first round lock.

I understand you don't like me because you think I got you in trouble for putting your stupid hash tags, but that doesn't mean you have to follow me around like a lost puppy.

I want White back at LSU just like you. Saying it would not be a smart decision for him to return doesn't mean I don't want him back.

So you think White can make the move to OLB and be dominant in the NFL?

Yeah no. A top 5 overall pick? He's gone as he should be

Alabama has had multiple top 15 picks. I won't hold my breath on White until it happens, but it's happened before that a high first round picks decides to come back. With White, if he returns, I think it's because he's shown he genuinely loves college football. I also feel like his family isn't depending on him to support them with an NFL contract like many other players' families are. If money isn't a factor in his decision (and that's not most important to some people), I will say that you can only experience being a college student once.

i mean it is possible take out a 20 million dollar insurance policy and come back. Maybe he loves his college experience enough to come back.

So likely less than just his signing bonus as a top 5 pick?

If anyone in his inner circle is giving him the advice to come back for his senior year, they truly don't care about his future like they should.

Devin White is one of my all-time favorite Tigers and I want him to go pro because he deserves it and it is what is best for him.

He's proven he's not a typical LB, but if this is about the very slight possibility of improving his draft stock marginally by coming back next year, is it worth the greater risk that he could hurt it due to injury or just having a bad year?

His draft stock has nowhere to go but down. He is already a top 5 NFL prospect (not saying top 5 pick...there is a difference).

Trust me, everyone wants him back...

I want him to go pro.

I won't be mad at him if he comes back or be upset, but I truly do want whats best for him in this situation. He's a great person and an all time great Tiger that I think will continue to represent us well in the NFL.

I agree. If I were him, I would declare. But if he's being motivated by other things like wanting to stay in school, the possibility of winning a NC, or getting his degree, then he may see it differently.
