I dont know where the hell Matt Canada could go but as someone very close to CEO and as confident has he sounded. I believe him. Granted I didn't expect Jeff Grimes getting the OC job at BYU so anything can happen I guess

guess O decided this week he wants the USC offense again . He’s flip flopped so many times on it I’m sure he’s lost track of what he’s told to people
Never change baw!

What does Detillier know ? Except to parrot some shite already known or to make up some shite that has a 50/50 chance. Canada will be a Div 1 head coach one day, what a surprise!!!

Who cares what Detiller says

Canada did a fair job considering a makeshift OL and Etling. Make Canada HC and Orgeron an OL coach.
We scored 45 against A&M and 27+ in 5/8 SEC games. Orgeron needs to stop living in the past.

Do folks realize how counterproductive this uncertainty is to Orgeron’s prospects as HC?
THE chief uncertainty I had was Orgeron’s vision and abilities as a manager of a program.
That Canada already checks out, if true, doesn’t help Orgeron. That he first proposed Kiffen wasn’t exactly promising, either...

Idk.....he's made living for some 30 years now giving his opinion on college and pro football. You tell me what he knows cause from where I'm sitting, he's either the greatest bullshite artist this world has ever seen or he knows his work. I'm pretty sure that if he didn't know shite, people wouldn't keep paying him for that opinion.

Canada isn’t “checking out”. It’s mutual. He wants out and O wants him gone.

There will be lots of OC openings after the early signing day finishes. Many programs waiting to make changes.
No one else is going to pay Canada what he is being paid at LSU to be an OC.

In addition, he just spent a year with Kiffin, and I like that offense as well to some degree.
That's the thing. He's learned a lot more about game planning and running clock without going tempo, tempo, tempo. FAU's offense is a beautiful thing this year
I would not be happy with the Baylor Briles (for obvious reasons lol) and the fact they scored so fast it didn't leave time for the defense to catch a breather
Not to mention he probably has access to Kiffin's gadget plays now

This sucks
I agree. I am really looking forward to seeing the Canada offense next season with Brennan and/or Narcisse at QB. Hopefully, this is just another one of Detillier's wild predictions with nothing to base it on.

Good question. I can't believe he'd take such a big pay cut to be the HC at a school like ULL. Maybe there's a deal in the works where LSU makes up the difference.
Uh, if he goes on his own, LSU owes him nothing. Why would they pay him?

Then he deserves credit, for mouthing a bunch of know-nothing shite … for 30 years too, go figure that, people listening to dumb shite all that time

Agreed. I feel like the LSU offense has made big strides this season in being far less predictable. And I thought Canada really did do a solid job this season. I'm hoping we get to see Canada running the offense next year with Brennan or Narcisse. It could be fun.

true but not everything is about money to people that make the money Canada has made so far.
For poor people yes money is everything but if he is indeed having issues with O and if O is interveneing with his offense it makes him look bad if it don't work so maybe he isn't worried bout a cut to work for someone that lets him coach?

Has anyone consulted the 8 ball for the answer to Canada leaving or staying?
