Prayers for his family! Very selfish you shoot
Yourself while driving and out others lives in danger. Seems he wasn’t a good person. So tragic for his life to end this way!

I'm sorry but killing someone then driving away without alerting first responders is shitty by itself, now he's shooting warning shots at family members and getting involved in high speed chases?

Do all of these together not make you think there may have been more going on with him than just being a “shitty person?” Maybe he was, but some of this goes well beyond that. It’s all assumptions right now, but it wouldn’t shock me if he was dealing with some untreated mental health problems. A person in their right frame of mind doesn’t shoot themselves in the midst of a police chase.

Does this excuse any of his behavior? No. Does it potentially explain some of it, when he never had any disciplinary issues over three seasons here? Possibly. If he had always been this big of a problem, he likely would have been suspended more than once, and may not have made it through 3 seasons here.

A person in their right frame of mind doesn't "unload the clip" at defenders after plays"

A person in their right frame of mind doesn't fricking drive way over the speed limit on a two way highway in a busier small town/city in broad daylight.

A person in their right frame of mind doesn't shoot the ground after arguing with his sister

A person in their right frame of mind doesn't kill himself after blowing his life and not knowing how to deal with consequences.

That's alot of stupid shite for a person "not in the right frame of mind." I lean more towards the maybe this person was an insanely immature piece of shite who had no control of his emotional impulses or outbursts. Call it like it is

This is so sad. He had a lot more life to live. Yes, he screwed up with the hit-and-run but the charge was very likely to have been plead down to probation/suspended sentence.

I will never understand suicide. But I've seen what it does and my God, it is so so devastating.

Just unfathomable. What do you even say when you read that story?

One of the most tragic and horrible college athlete deaths ever is all I can say.

You never know what people are going thru. Be kind.

What is wrong with calling a spade a spade?

Taking the high road and staying silent on things does not make it better, it enables people, emboldens them.

I don’t mean to get too political.

But somewhere along the way aphorisms like “an armed society is a polite society” were accepted as shibboleths.

Some people should not have guns at the end of the day.

The only reason Kyren lacy is getting any form of sympathy on this board is because he scored touchdowns in Baton Rouge. He’s a coward who took the life of a 77 year old Vietnam vet drunk. Not to mention his high speed chase stunt.

Downvote me away but you wouldn’t have seen the same attention aimed at Henry Ruggs and at least he is serving time.

Again, Kirby Smart should have every UGA player with a drivers license glued to this story.

This is Icarus flying too close to the sun.
