Plenty of blame to go around. Not just on Aranda.

Was the offense not good enough to win in your opinion? When we needed stops the most our defense shite the bed. When we went up by 5 FLORIDA went down the field like we had 6 defenders on the field. We couldn't defend a simple option play EVERY TIME they ran it. Defenders allow them to get dragged an extra 3 yards every time they actually make a stop.

Who does the defensive problems fall on? The defensive coordinator.

I've NEVER said a bad thing about Aranda in my life. Literally.

He shite the bed yesterday.

Florida gashed us. FLORIDA. The team that only scored one touchdown against State with a trick play. This loss is on Aranda

We must defend O and Slinger at all costs apparently

Also applying the transitive property is stupid

I don't like Aranda's 3-4 defense. Never enough guys applying pressure. And when he goes to 2 down linemen it gets worse. Four guys with their hand in the dirt is what it takes. Aranda is getting like a lot of over-rated DC's. It's his scheme and he's gonna stick with it. LSU doesn't have the players for a 3-4 defense. Period.

So why didn't we score more than 19 points? That's not a sign of an offense that can win games on the road.

Joe Burrow fumbling and throwing the picks. And our defense allowing soul crushing long drives for the Florida offense. Our defense lost that game.

How in the world do you not see that?

5 Plays, 35 yards, Punt
3 Plays, 1 yard, Punt
5 Plays, 18 yards, FG
3 Plays, 1 yard, Punt
4 Plays, 80 yards, TD (Missed 2Pt Try)
6 Plays, 30 yards, Punt
3 Plays, 6 yards, INT Pick 6
8 Plays, 14 yards, INT

This is our drive chart from the second half. You think this is a performance that's good enough to win on the road?

Defense got 3 straight 3-and-outs and offense couldn't close the gap.

Both sides of the ball sucked Saturday.

Florida’s defense was on the field longer than our defense.

Because it’s false

You yourself JUST pointed out we had multiple turnovers. You are praising the offense and acting like FLORIDA was a crappy Sun Belt team. You should have looked at the stats, their offense was ranked just below LSU in the SEC. Also are you not aware Mullen is their coach and he’s done reasonably well with offense over the years? Their first 4 drives of the 2nd half were a turnover and 3 straight 3 and outs.

Defense is the only reason LSU has 5 wins right now, the offense has looked putrid in 5 of 6 games

Aranda called a good game.

I don't think it was one of Dave's better games. We were very passive and didn't try to force Franks into making big mistakes. Delpit could have been used to blitz more and create havoc because we had zero pass rush otherwise.

And UF saw something in our D to call a QB draw on 3rd and 7 late in the game and Franks ran for 11 yards.

I agree and disagree

The defense isn’t what we thought it would be.

But it’s good. It’s not elite but it’s better than slightly above average.

Yesterday wasn’t that fricking bad and people are blowing it out of proportion to cover for a shitty offensive gameplan.

The offense is trash. I dont Care if it’s opened up if the play calling is still shite.

You can’t argue with numbers -

2 years ago we were 10th in Total D
Last year 12th in Total D
This year - 34th in Total D

Its not your imagination. We are not nearly as good as we are accustomed to on D this year. And we still have to play the UGA and Bama which are bound to send this ranking even lower.

You are using final season rankings vs middle of the season

And we're 81st in offense. That's worse than Canada's offense last year, and MUCH worse than Les Miles's last season believe it or not.

This entire team is objectively worse in every phase of the game since Orgeron took over.

Actually excuse me, we have a pretty good kicker now.

The offense is better than I thought it'd be. You people that say it's the same as Miles years are either blind or just dont pay attention.

It's actually much worse than Miles' last full season, but don't let the facts stand in your way.
