Defense just isn't what we thought it'd be

We just dont have an elite defense. We have an average defense to slightly above average defense. And Aranda called his worst game by far since hes been at LSU yesterday. Offense has tried to open up and I'm happy with it.

Aranda needs to get his head out of his arse. I've never said a bad word about the guy in my life but yesterday was atrocious.

Neither is the offense.

The offense is better than I thought it'd be. You people that say it's the same as Miles years are either blind or just dont pay attention.

an average Florida team arse raped our defense yesterday. No pass rush, cant stop the run, piss poor job of players maintaining their lanes.

It’s a good defense. Unfortunately we lost our ace pass rusher and that’s putting extra stress on the LBs and DBs and forcing us to do things like keeping Delpit in the box to produce pressure.

They weren’t great yesterday but they actually did enough to win the game. Other than the long pass Florida did next to nothing up until their go ahead drive. As bad as the first Burrow turnover was, the offense lost all rhythm once it became a field position game and Ensminger had to revert to the 2016 Bama game call sheet.

Aranda called a good game. Outside of White, Delpit and Greedy the players in his defense are not living up to our expectations. Bottom line if UF doesn’t gain 2-3 yards after nearly every contact. LSU would have won that game by 10-14 points.

I disagree. I just think Mullen has Aranda’s number. For some reason he seems to scheme around our D every year. Mix that with the injuries on the O-line forcing our D to stay on the field all game, they had quite the chore yesterday. I’m gonna see how we play the next couple of games before jumping off the cliff.

Losing Chaisson was huge, he is the edge rusher we need

Saw a lot of laziness on D yesterday and that is a concern

Losing Chaisson took a lot out of this defense. Not an excuse, just reality.

What really hurt was that it was at a point in a game that for all intents and purposes, should have been over.

That was a sign in itself.

Agree here. They're more warm garbage and not hot garbage.

Our tackles aren't very effective. They get pushed back on the run and get in the LB's way & no push on the pass rush

Did you expect dog shite for offense and are pleased that it's only cat shite?

Why do we have this double standard for the offense and defense? We would've been further along but O fired Canada. He promised us a great offense and it's fallen far short of that. Don't even mention that bullshite OM stat line.

Florida gashed us. FLORIDA. The team that only scored one touchdown against State with a trick play. This loss is on Aranda.

We actually have a quarterback now. Brosette and CEH are actually playing better than I expected them to. Justin Jefferson is breaking out way more than expected. Jamarr Chase looks good. Sullivan is getting open more than anyone expected. After turning the reigns over to Ensminger, our offense is way better than I expected it to be. We had the offense to win that game yesterday.

The loss was on the defense. If you cant see that then I can't help yall.

Plenty of blame to go around. Not just on Aranda.

So why didn't we score more than 19 points? That's not a sign of an offense that can win games on the road.

Frick Arkansas score 31 on Bama and you think we can get away with scoring 19? GTFO of here.
