Living in Atlanta, most of my friends are UGA and Auburn fans with some Florida idiots thrown in there. All of them hate Gary Also for the same reasons we do. Not necessarily because he supposedly HATES our team, but because he continually is a Bama homer.
Of course it's compounded by the fact that CBS games are too damn long with a billion commercials and make Saturdays worthless for anything but watching ONE game. Eff Gary and EFF CBS.

Gary was pretty bad during the iron bowl.
During second quarter he said drive was critical. Auburn had to score to stay in the game. ???? During the second quarter.
On a Auburn score, he said they stole it. What? How do you steal a score?
Also he went on and on about Auburn throwing the ball away and someone accidentally caught it. What??Just because you didn’t see it doesn’t mean the WB didn’t.
Auburn’s completions were lucky and Bamas were efficient.
It was on full display. And I really didn’t have a dog in the fight. .

You obviously don't have any friends that aren't LSU fans. Hell, you can go over to the SEC Rant right now and find fans from all over the conference that can verify that Gary Danielson is a giant Alabama Homer.
This is well-known all over the conference and even outside the conference. I've had people from other parts of the country tell me the same thing. "What the frick is up with Gary Danielson? Why doesn't he ever shut up about Alabama?"
The only other team that him and Vern did this with was Florida when Tebow was there. They both fell deeply in love with Tim Tebow just like they both fell deeply in love with Nick Saban when he went to Alabama. Neither one of them know how to hide it and no matter which game they're calling they always have Bama on their mind.
Ones down so now we just got to get Danielson out of the booth.

Tebow and Bama (for the last decade) were among the most dominant to ever play the game.
Announcers covering the SEC are going to speak highly of those types of players and teams in the conference.

My beef with Danielson is that his skills are deteriorating. He’s becoming like Abe Simpson up there. I’ve always been a fan, but he’s just not as sharp as he used to be. Hey, I’m not as verbally sharp as I was 15 years ago either and I’m fiddy. It happens.
