Not as talented as Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama or Auburn but more talented than Arkansas. We’re underperforming overall but are 5-2 in conference with a healthy Pinson so it’s a wait and see.

Wade's roster from last season - the one that got that coveted 8 seed - was comprised of 3 starters who are currently playing in the NBA.

Tells me everything I need to know.

And the goalpost moves again. This time applying a standard you don’t apply to any other school in the country but hey like I said you have an agenda and that’s how you people operate.

What three guys on that team are currently playing in the NBA?

ETA. didn’t realize Smart signed a 2 way deal with Miami.

Pretty impressive that Wade is going to replace 3 NBA players and still make the tournament.

I caught the error on start/play. I had forgotten that Smart signed the 2 way deal last week.

Kentucky had 3 NBA players off a 9-16 team last year and more who are still on the roster. There are examples like this all the time but getting to the second round with a pre-season unranked team is a total failure because it’s Wade’s team. None of their standards are applied to anyone else. What that guy knows about basketball comes from this board and LSU games starting from Auburn of this season.

Lol. I mean. By definition, yea the season isn’t over cause we still have games to play. But you know deep down that “this season is def over” if you’re being honest with yourselves.

Noiice one.
One of those guys had to grow up out of the "look at me" mentality he had around here to have a shot at it pretty quickly. Apparently holding his own now.

Think about it like this. Of all freshman in the country only 4 who ranked outside the top 30s average double digits and one of em is Brandon Murray, the 89th overall player. Even within the top 25 you’ve got 5 players averaging fewer than 4.8ppg, 3 of em under 3.5 and one averaging 1.2ppg. Unless you’re a top 25 guy chances are you’re not gonna be a significant contributor until later and possibly never.

As a young man I watched Ethan Martin, Greg Cook, Macklin and a lot of others play as freshman and grow and get better and better. Murray tomorrow will be better than Murray today just as Gaines is better today than he was last year.

Reid had a ton of potential and can be great. Fudge will get better too if he stays. So will Justice. It’s a shame Cook left. Guys don’t stay and too many get processed. That’s my beef.

Hahahaha.

Please go into detail how throwing passes against a man to man defense creates mismatches.

You literally have zero fricking clue.

I wouldn't say definitely over but it's trending down and I can bet you that foul shots, rebounding, and turnovers are gonna derail us.

True but Wade needs to realize that some nights these guys are off bad (Murray, Days etc)and he could insert Shareef for them and at least get something positive out of him.

what in the world do you see that justifies this statement?

At this point, Reid has few skills. I think your opinion is way overinflated merely because Reid was a 5*.

If Reid was a random 3* named John Smith and played like he's playing now, there's no way in hell you'd say he has potential to be great.

Yeah “Dang”. Man curse or don’t.

When you are speaking of Wade and this LSU Basketball team the word “Damn” is perfectly justified.

Both teams have improved dramatically since then.

Did they?

In what way did Tennessee improve? 10-3 when we played them 9-3 since we played them.

Kentucky is 11-2 before and after our game.

I’m not saying we’re playing well Now, but your “we were never good” schtick is nonsense

Great was the wrong word, I should have said very good.
He’s nearly seven foot tall, he isn’t a stiff, he is raw and needs seasoning. Year three he could be very good, great should be reserved for the Shaw’s and Maraviches.
