I enjoyed reading his site. RIP.

At least there is the belief he will be reubited with his beloved Joy. Two days & I'm still sad for the family and tiger fans who enjoyed his blog.

absolutely. I would even go as far as to say the Louisiana Hall of Fame. As fans is there anything we can do to try and make this happen

Dandy Don was always so helpful with the alumni chapters around the nation by posting information about the chapters, where they watch games and various events such as crawfish boils. He gave so much and I'll always appreciate him, his help and his very kind words.

RIP Dandy Don.

Dandy don was the reason I found this board. I haven't read his site in 3-4 years, but always admired his passion for the school. RIP

I heard Jim Hawthorne announce his passing during the baseball game over the weekend. His was the first LSU-related website I ever read with regularity some 15 years ago. I hadn't in a long time, but he did a great job, and really paved the way for others, like this site.

Eternal Rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him. May he rest in Peace.

Dandy Don will be truly missed. He was an LSU icon and if you never read his website, you missed an opportunity to read the passion he felt of the greatest College team in the Country. Rest in Peace, you will not be forgotten.

Still the first LSU-related page I visit every mornin. Got to meet Dandy at the LSU/State game in Baton Rouge year before last. Very nice guy and made it seem like we had known each other for years. Guess we actually have, since I have been reading his page since its inception. Tiger Nation lost one of its greatest.

First thing I clicked on every morning. Sent him 8-10 messages and got a response within 24 hrs every time. May God have mercy on his soul.
