Don was a good person, a loving father and grandfather and among the most devout Tiger fans who ever lived.

May he rest in peace with his bride of many years.

When I first began reading online news, (beyond just newspaper articles) Dandy Don was the first stop I'd make. I always felt like his feelings toward the games were the same as my own. I'm sad to hear of his passing, and glad to read about the time he got to spend his his son in the process. Long live the Dandy One.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this this thread, but I heard about this on the way to Dallas this weekend while listening to the game, and I loved what Charlie said about him.

Something to the effect of no one had ever "united" as many Tiger fans as the Dandy One, and I tend to agree.

DD was a positiger. A good man from what I gather from those that knew him. A lover of the game(s). And wonderful ambassador to our school. We need more "Dandy Don's" in the world, and his loss will be felt.

A significant loss. Dandy Don was "blogging" long before anyone knew what it was. His diligence to his readers and his dedication to his site was remarkable. Also, I got the sense that the site was a special project for he and his son to work together on, and it eventually made them more Tiger friends then they ever imagined. That's powerful stuff.

I had the good fortune to meet him on a few occasions, and he was exactly as you'd expect: a guy who loved his Tigers. Rest easily, Dandy.

Already posted in the thread and again best wishes to the family

Is it clear if a member of his family will keep doing the LSU positiger website? That's probably a hard thing to keep up with unless you are retired

His son Scott, who has been writing for the past few months, will keep it going.

God bless Don,

Scott has been writing it for almost a year so yes he will keep it up. He owns a website design company or something like that.

Cheers to Dandy Don.... the greatest tiger fan eva!!!
