DD was the first place I went for LSU info when I was developing into the diehard LSU fan I am today. I remember when I was in middle school that's the first place I'd go when I woke up. RIP.

Been reading his site for 12 years now every morning. RIP Dandy Don. Such a sad day but at least he isn't suffering. He was a part of my daily routine every morning and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You will be missed more than you know.

The great thing is that Mr. Don will have front row seats for the next LSU championship and seated next to him will be his loving wife.

Although a pit came to my stomack and tears came to my eyes when I read Dandydon this morning, I was a least cheerred up when I read all 260 previous posts and they were all positive. It has really disturbed me to read all of the negative posts about Mr.Long on this board over the years. He was a true Tiger fan and performed a very valuable service for those of us who do not live in Louisiana.

RIP Dandy Don! I remember when it was just the beginnings of Tigerdroppings and Dandy Don was one of main sources of Tiger info back in the day.

RIP. I know he is on the starry walk which begins at the tunnel coming out of the endzone with the team in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night.

I was saddened at the news, even though Don was open that he would not be around much longer.

He was great about answering any email sent to him, as he obviously enjoyed hearing from every fellow Tiger fan. He will be missed and remembered.
