I’d imagine that puts him around third string. The question is what was he doing while away. If he was still doing the reps and working out he should be in shape so just a matter of picking up the schemes and things. Now this is where having basically the same D coaches would help get him up to speed quick.
I would guess he is going to see a few snaps vs Clemson. Good to have some depth pieces in him and the ND guy

Means as a guess it could have been some kinda off the field issue, he is suggesting it would be sexual kinda like the stuff that happened with Lester Earls kid, except in this case Shanklin didn’t do anything.
It could really have been any discipline issue, an academic issue or maybe even dispute over nil. Good news whatever it was is cleared.

Agree with all of this. I think he will become first guy to rotate in for most of the season, but after he earns it in practice. He would have been 2nd string had the absence not occurred.
