The reality is most, if not all schools, would entertain the same if the player was interested and they were in play. The moral high horse sounds good when you never had a chance.

Kentucky and Mizzou were also recruiting TJ Harden RB who signed with the Seahawks and actually played in a game. The Big Ten also made rules that protected UCLA from taking LB Trent Hendrick by clarifying “underclassman” who declares for the draft are ineligible. Hendrick exhausted his eligibility and declared. Except the only school bringing people that SIGNED NFL contracts is LSU. Texas - no.. he never signed.

Agents get paid to find contracts for these kids.
I doubt LSU or Ole Miss reached out to his agent.
I am sure his agent reached out to various schools to find him a place to land… to get paid.
Here is the real issue. Now that these kids have agents, the SEC has to define clearly the rules. Until then, agents will do what they can to circumvent the system… likely even paying for lawsuits.

The point is that the 2022 TROs were not given the choice to seek their 5th year n college so they were forced to go to the nfl

Only a fraction of the 2022s are being given this opportunity..the ones that filed lawsuits. There is no blanket acceptance of 2022s. Because their eligibility ran out. TROs are the only things propping this up.
