Maybe not. But they would've started the rebuild. They just delayed the rebuild by 1 year because they thought their roster was good enough to win it all with Earley. It wasn't. And now they've delayed their rebuild for nothing

It's 2025. Rebuilds can take one offseason with transfer portal and NIL.

They thought they had the roster to pull off another good season and it didn't happen. It's not that bad of a gamble.

No one will care about any of this in a handful of months. Although it is hilarious and they are a bunch of weirdos.

Prototypical prick Travel Ball parent, who can't have his way anymore. So he becomes an internet baseball Karen

Wait, so the good guys in this story are the crazy diuchebag fans that on the interenet are tough guys shite talking the team and coach?

A dad taking a public stance in support of a coach is far from the worst thing in todays sports world

A parent threatening an athletic dept to get their way or else is the worst thing in today’s sports.

The school can fire the coach, the coach can leave on his own, and players can leave if they so choose. Everyone knows this, so why make the threat.

The long term best interest of the A&M program is to not give a shite if a coaching decision results in the shakeup of the current roster. That happens anyway and they would have a new team regardless. The dad is a powerless moron here who just wants attention.

Your job as a parent - ESPECIALLY on a major D1 baseball team - is to sit down, shut up, and let the coaches and administrators handle shite

Your job is NOT starting shite on the internet

Why is this even a conversation?

The dad's strategy worked really well retaining the coach to keep the players this season, do it 1 more time

Not to mention most of the best players are in their last seasons as Aggies anyhow.

Schott, Kent, LaViolette, Prager, Lamkin all presumably gone.
