Dabo is an alright guy. Been saying that for a long time.
Sure, he can get over the top sometimes, but it's called passion.
Respect for what he has accomplished.
I agree - have never hated on Dabo.
He is in a crappy conference = nothing he can do about that - it would be counterproductive to his team's overall success to go around blaming the conference for his team's lack of impressive wins - that would be bad for recruiting.
Now - he does emphasize some bad calls and bad luck to take the edge off the defeat while ignoring the fact that LSU had worse bad luck and bad calls as well.
That is what coaches do - rare is the coach who doesn't make some reference to the bad luck that put them in the bad situations.
I don't recall Orgeron doing that - or having to.
I don't expect an opposing coach to fall down with 'full confession" of all their weaknesses - just act responsible for what happened and promise to correct it.
to do otherwise would be stupid.

Our coach maintains a better ingame demeanor.

You could tell in his halftime interview he knew they were in trouble. Toned it way down, and the 'poor ol' clemson' thing wasn't working anymore.

And he was extremely respectful and gave us all credit after the game. No excuses. It’s easy to see why he has that program humming
I really don't get all the Dabo hate. People are really hating on his "awww shucks" personality. There are plenty of a-hole, frick up coaches out there to hate on. Dabo isn't one of them.

Dabo and his staff did a great job imo. Team was ready we were just better. And he was extremely respectful and gave us all credit after the game. No excuses. It’s easy to see why he has that program humming
Right on! Much respect to Dabo. Don’t like the whining, but otherwise he is alright.

Still waiting to find his post game comments to see if he put a little class back in his demeanor.
He gave the classiest post game losing speech ive ever heard.
He's an emotional guy. maybe a bit of a goofball. But I do think he's genuine and a good coach.

I like Dabo a lot...BUT...
he reminded me of Mahlzan and K Smart when they were briefly ahead of LSU and they were way over-animated on the sidelines and yucking it up like fools (remember Smart getting knocked on his arse when he tried to go airborne and chest bump one of his players coming off the field after a big play against LSU). Dabo wanted so bad to convince himself that he had a historic team, but his team is only a footnote to a truly historic team. He’s probably still in shock and denial this morning.

So glad he lost. A whiny, sanctimonious prick. God loves other people too, "Dabo."
Say what you want about Saban, but Saban plays clean and leaves no BS in his wake.

I like that part of his coaching persona honestly. I mean look, he knew for weeks that they were waaaaay overmatched so he played the underdog card leading up to the game and he got pumped up when his team opened the game playing well. Their only chance was to ride that emotion and adrenaline early and catch a few breaks along the way.

Dabo was prom king and Trevor was the prom queen

I got really tired of his whining pregame and the little ole Clemson routine all season. However, if you have a problem with how he handled and talked about this loss you are just looking for stuff.

I didn't view any of the pregame comments from DS as whining when you read the complete transcript and there should be zero issue with him celebrating.

When he was jumping up and down celebrating I told my brother damn I can’t wait until Burrow and the LSU get going. Once they did he was very quiet.
I can honestly say I never had any doubt in any game this year that LSU would win. That’s how dominant and locked in they were. It was a season to remember that’s for sure.
There will be a drop off next year no doubt. I can say though that even with a drop off if it isn’t drastic LSU has a chance to win again.
