They just whipped LSU's asses with a complete sweep. I'm sure they're the ones laughing at LSU.
Back to OP, it would really suck if LSU doesn't get into the Top 8. Gonna need some home field advantage with this team.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate just how good of a coach Jim Schloss is?
I mean from what I can tell he’s a tool but dang it his teams are always immediately better when he’s on the job

Well they just reach the hallway point in SEC games; plenty of baseball left to play. Hence, any “projections” on field of 64 and seedings is pure speculation nonsense.

Just because they swept LSU, doesn't mean they should be considered a top 8 seed. Freak things happen in a short span of time in baseball. Doesn't mean I like, at all, what transpired over the weekend. But I don't think Auburn is anywhere near as good as LSU made them look. LSU's bats almost all went into a slump at the same time, and it started a couple of games before the Auburn series. Couple that with some really bad defense that gave away runs all weekend, and you get the result that followed.
So Auburn fans can talk all they want, as they have the bragging rights... for now. I don't expect their run to continue. I'd be surprised to see them finish with more than 15 or 16 league wins. That'll get them in easily, but that's not a top 8 type of team, in my opinion.

In both were hosting in the 8/9 regional paired with Oregon St but would much rather BA’s scenario too where we get the 8 and guaranteed to host all the way to Omaha.

That's rad, dad ... 6 of the Top 10 are SEC, Florida nowhere to be found, UL-Lake Charles ahead of Moo State and Aggies. This forecast seems more than a little out there
