Paul said himself that just making it to Omaha isn't good enough.

They are most definitely NOT interchangeable. You want that W. You want it for confidence, to get the monkey off your back. It's the reason MLB throws their aces in the #1 slot. You always do what gives you the best chance to get the win.

It's double elimination. Poche had been playing lights out. Actually better than Lange over the last two starts. Tons of lefties in the lineup. It was not a bad decision to start him. Now, if we lose, we have Lange in an elimination game which is good.

Good to see our fricking idiot in charge has already given up. That'll really inspire the players.

TCU has been business like and on point. LSU has played like the football team for a weird 11:30 AM Jefforson Pilot game. Sleep walking.

Our hitting is absolutely terrible. What happened the past three weeks

This game was set to be a 2-1 type game til we melted. Their pitcher is doing exactly what we thought he would.

That's because LSU had Skip. PM will always be compared to that standard and he'll never be close to Skip's greatness for this program.

at least we are pitching a guy an inning or so, so that we can have everyone ready for game 2 or 3 and not waste anything because we will need them all if we are going to make a run.

This pitcher is pretty tough

Tulane always pitched a pitcher like this and beat us. He throws about 85 with a curve ball and the TCU coach knows that our history told him he had the right guy for this game. Hell they have to be thinking this is a piece of cake.

2013 one of the best teams we have ever seen. Got beat by the national champ UCLA, and UNC who was as good as a team as we were.

That and the 1998 teams are the two best non-CWS winning teams in LSU history. LSU lost to UCLA 2-1 without an earned run against us. UNC was a tough game two opponent, but, if we beat UCLA, we would have played NC STATE who threw Carlos Rodon in game one and we would have likely been 2-0.
