Saw an interview with him about it. Said they set the date in December 2023. He’s a 5th year so at the time he didn’t even think he’d be playing college baseball this year. Watched him talk about it earlier, apparently was out of eligibility last year and would’ve finished grad school in May. Has had it scheduled for over a year.

Wow. So his bride and family would have to decide what to do as well.
I’d have looked into changing dates when he decided to play another year but I’m a girl and think wayyyyy ahead like that.

Right just about is what I said. But it’s not that much space in reality. Not enough to warrant all the comments about how homers are hard to come by there. Plenty of homers get hit in Omaha which is the point I’m making
