well hell, we'd have a team of "the doc"s and "sfp"'s if we didn't let everone play who didn't act like a leader this year

not only does every team need leaders, they need people who have a desire to be lead

what if the problem on this team was too many leaders and not enough followers? people who refused to take personal responsibility? people willing to admit they needed something deeper, something different?

do, byrd didn't do anything specifically? nothing like Taylor?

Maybe you could just show up to practice and tell McCray he sucks to his face..

I would tell him his technique blows. And then, I'd happily prove it to him.

The guy is helpless in man coverage. HELPLESS!!!

I'm sure he's trying hard. Perhaps, as others say, he's good as a safety. And, it aint really HIS fault that he's helpless in Man coverage and yet continually is being asked to do it.

Tepper used to ask LBs to cover speedy slot guys. They couldn't do it. THAT is a coaching issue.

it's actually no secret anymore that he was one of the cancers on his team because of his attitude. Even got to the point where there are certain recruit's parents not like his mother because of the way she acted in the stands.

I don't think he's a thug, but to give up in your senior year because you have a mistake prone QB is bullshite.

he should have been trying EXTRA hard for JL.

he was supposed to be the best receiver this year.

i remember when he caught a RP pass low to the side with ONE hand in the SECCG.

play only went for like 6 yards, but was one of my favorite plays last year.

everyone KNOWS he can be a good receiver, but not when he has given up on his team.

leave his arse in baton rouge for the bowl game.

Miles needs to make a statement.

People thogh saban was harsh on DJ hall last year, but he was exactly right.

I think this was stated sarcastically. He has been a little lacking in leadership, but Byrd is not a thug.

You do know i was being sarcastic? It's ludicrous how fast we label these kids one thing or another based on a picture, one quote, or a percieved attitude problem. It really is amazing.

McCray is probablygoing to startnext year at safety, and right now, i think he is our best safety

i do agree about his problems with coverage issues, but my guess is the coachig staff didn't feel comfortable with one of the younger guys there earlier this season

perhaps they knew they were going to move peterson out as the season progressed? but brooks? nobody? mccray was a terrible option at nickel

personally, I think he has, in a sense. You did notice Terrance Toliver on the field alot more towards the end of the season.

it's not perceived anymore. It was confirmed on another board by someone else closer to the situation than we are.

for real?

You remember him producing and now he isn't as much, so he's a cancer. Did you ever think that some of the lack of production is directly related to having a set of QBs who didn't/couldn't get him the rock when he ran the right route, made the right adjustments, and played his arse off? Did you ever think that some of the times when it looked like he was out of position or whatever, that it was the failure of the QBs in particular to execute the playbook properly that left him out there looking lost and frustrated. Nobody on that team could lead enough, yell enough, run fast enough, or execute the called plays well enough to save us in those critical moments throughout the year when the pick 6's and general lack of solid QB play was burying us. He couldn't stop the picks thrown against Bama, Ole Miss, or UF. He couldn't stop Snead from torching us. Let's stop killing these guys and calling for them all to be run off. It's a poor character thing to do.

After reading this Taylor is the lowest form of Teammate their can ever be. Its "me first" and if I'm not playing, then screw everyone.

Totally unacceptable to laugh at teammates and sulk on the sidelines and not support your fellow mates. We don't ever need another player like him. Hello Curt. You got benched for a reason. You can forget ever playing in the league. Good luck in Arena ball.

If players can will themselves to the National Championship, then why the hell would we be concerned about who the coach is?

You have zero logic skills. That's why you are on the wrong side of most arguments.

Didn't Saban suspend Hall for an entire game, only to put him in after halftime?
