Basile, "Diversity" is our strength. Isn't that the message we live by. ;)

Or maybe its, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need".

Awful name and they should have given us less Jacob Hester... not more.

I like Hester.

The only thing I agree with is about the name, but who the hell cares about that.

Yep, with infractions, the NCAA usually contacts the former coaches before they tell the school, current coaches or media. That's the norm for sure.

V Singleton. G griggs. Not to mention that they played Georgia tech and lost to the three-headed monster that group had. But Chris Jackson had the flu

That Tech team was very good, yes we blew a 19-pt lead but Tech was legit. My issue with that team is they underachieved enough and lost to enough inferior teams that the seed forced us into that matchup earlier than it should have.

I don't know if you are implying that Culotta is full of shite with his finger pointing or you are legit saying that Dale wouldn't have this info before LSU does.

I can just give my opinion. I don't think Jordy goes public with a statement like that without being pretty damn sure that he is right. Also I don't think he goes public without at least through back channels getting the ok from inside LSU. He isn't a national guy who can shite on one school knowing it won't hurt him because his coverage is nationwide. He is local and his check depends on local stories and sources, if he pisses off locals he is basically done in this market. As far as Dale Brown goes, I think he is guilty of everything Jordy is saying. I have been watching that man since the late 70's and he is a fighter. Silence isn't his thing, if he wasn't involved he would be screamin from the mountain top. His silence speaks loudly.

If this is true he's compromised as a journalist.

I think you can count the non-compromised journalist on one hand in this country these days. Would not be surprised.

All local journalist are compromised. They cannot afford to push envelope to far and piss off the powers that be. If they do they will basically be locked out of everything and lose their ability to do the job.

A) Jordy isn’t a journalist. He’s a radio show host

B) even if he was a journalist they have to protect their sources as a journalist. You start running with information you were told not to run and you burn that source. Maybe Jordy was told to run with this info. Maybe he decided to burn his source. Maybe he’s full of shite and gets his info from TD. I have no idea but I do know that every journo worth a damn has information they won’t run.

Re journalists, I remember when Brown ran John Adams of The Advocate out of town to Tenn for Adam's perceived negative articles on Brown & his program. A pure, raw power play on Brown's part, and typical of his attacks on anyone who dare criticize he and or his program. As noted, Brown's silence speaks volumes, as that passivity is not typical of him.

Jordy is a broadcast journalist. If he’s going to report & break news (which he does) he has an obligation to be balanced & accurate,

No. He is a radio host. Jordy has no assumption of responsibility that comes with being a journalist.

If Vitale is going to report news like he is trying to, then absolutely.

Jordy told him the same thing.

Standards should be same for Jordy.

Fwi I don’t think Jordy has done anything wrong. He has botched things before tho. Something last year, I forget exactly what it was.

Was it something to do with a football player during fall camp? Maybe Jacoby Stevens? Was that last year?
