It felt different. Not saying it was best ever but it felt like the entire crowd was into it and not just the student section.

There are times when I felt it should have been louder last year.

Didn’t they move the blue hairs further back? Or at least move some students down front court side?

That would certainly make a difference.

It was a quiet first half on the TV. In crunch time, it sounded great.

Impressive, especially with school not in session.

I’ve been attending games since 1979. Does not come close to matching the Dale Brown era of the 80’s, but the crowd last night got loud when needed.

Need to get a few more thousand people in there and ramp it up some more. The crowd can “contribute” a few points per game. This team is going to need those few points.

"Blue Hairs" made the noise. LSU was selling general admission tickets in the student section last night because of the lack of students attending games this year....I guess most of them left with WW. Student section was mostly general public last night.

Are most students even back on campus right now?

Doesn’t matter of they are back in dorms or not. A ton of LSU students live in the Baton Rouge area. They just don’t go to games.

The crowd was great last night despite the lack of students. Majority of the lower/mid level student section was general public. This team won over a lot of fans last night who had not paid attention to any bball games. Great win last night

The transition from Auburn to LSU on TV last night made our crowd look like a morgue. Not saying they didn't get loud, just saying that was a tough act to follow. I wish our fans would stand more. I wish we made more noise when the other team has the ball. Alas, I wish I'd have gone to the game and realize I'm part of the problem. I'll try and do better.

Nope. But did not go to the games when they were on campus during fall semester. Of course, the home schedule has sucked, but they should still support the team. Especially after claiming that the problem with the PMAC is all the "blue hairs" sitting on their hands taking up all the good seats.

This is a Musselman quote after the game on the crowd noise.

"I think our ball club tonight learned how hard it is to win on the road. LSU had a phenomenal crowd with no class being in, I was actually surprised on how good and how loud, how energetic their crowd was.”
