Road game. How many tickets are we allocated? What’s the points cutoff?

This is federal court, not state court. It’s just as likely the judge will be from somewhere else and have no ties to the SEC at all.

ETA- nevermind. However, I think you are likely to get a judge who isn’t just a fan like we saw in the MS and LA cases at the federal level. They have a lot more reputation at stake, especially if they want to continue to rise.

What exactly do these assholes want?

That’s my question. If the SEC were to “win,” what would they gain?

Sankey flat out said he wants a public apology. I hope LSU tells him to go frick himself.

no, we were looking at the cookie jar and talking about getting a cookie, and we may have opened the lid and sniffed inside, but we stopped there.

I hope LSU lockers these fools...

This is the stupidest thing ever lol. Hey we're suing you because we think you were close to doing something bad.

What do they even want though? Nobody is getting suspended, and LSU isn’t leaving the SEC, so how does this even end?

Not accurate. They don't just appoint federal court judges from all over the country and randomly place them wherever. They appoint judges who are in the state where they'll be sitting. There are 7 federal court district judges in AL. Of those, 5 went to either undegrad or law school in the State of Alabama. 3 of them attended the University of Alabama for both undergrad and law school.

The judge over this case, Annemarie Carney Axon, went to Alabama for undergrad and law school. She was appointed by trump in 2018. Prior to being appointed, she was in private practice in Birmingham

They're fishing for LSU to admit that they were trying to sign professional players.

And we 1000% were. Just like every other school in the fricking country across multiple sports. This is purely a Lane Kiffin/Tony Clayton lawsuit. If LSU is sitting at 2-6 right now it would've been dropped a month ago. If Tony Clayton doesn't tell Sankey to publicly kiss his arse this is dropped by now.

It all boils down to Sankey, Ole Miss and Tennessee being butt hurt assholes. Those two were your "anonymous SEC leadership sources" or whatever the frick they called it.

I would love to see their witness list. Is there anyone with direct knowledge that LSU was directly involved or just a bunch of I know it was happening because I was told

I’d be pretty shocked if this doesn’t get dismissed. A lot of federal courts wouldn’t even hear arguments on something like this.

Alabama not only signed one, but played him in multiple league games.

Birmingham can STTD.

They want us to publicly admit we were wrong (yet we didn't do anything). And also probably penalize Kiffin and/or Wade.

"Plaintiffs fail to acknowledge, there was no rule against placing hand in the cookie jar at the time, and in fact allowed other members to have cookies out of the same jar, and did nothing."

Game over.
