Think BK may have been a lying PoS?
Or do you want him back?

Could he sue the NCAA for lost income (lower draft position) if he claimed that he only kept playing injured because he believed that he was out of eligibility?

Use the Ole Miss judge’s decision to his advantage.

Now it makes sense why your sports takes are ALWAYS hot dumpster water. You’re a band nerd.

Let’s say he shuts it down after the Vandy game. The moment we all knew something was seriously off.

We knew something was seriously off long before the Vandy game.

I couldn’t imagine a bigger buzzkill for next year than having Nuss run it back at QB

He needed to shut it down after the max effort duck in the 1st quarter vs. LaTech. That would have given him another year, but we’d still be stuck with Kelly.

never gonna be burrow

Burrow was one of a kind. I watched a playback of the 2019 Fiesta Bowl this morning and was amazed at how Burrow responded after that brutal pancake on the pick six. Burrow could have been killed on that play-- instead like a Phoenix he responded by throwing five TD passes

Who cares? Nussmier wasn't going to take anyone to the promise land! And, he'll never make it in the Pros!

How did you feel about Boutte?

Nuss has signed a 4+ million dollar contract.
Your opinion vs Andy Reid's?

You can probably play 20 years in college now. As long as you have a hometown Supreme Court judge who will overrule the NCAA. There are no more rules.

IMO, with a better OC Nussmeier is a much better QB. He didn't have the "option B" Daniels had by just being able to take off for huge runs is the initial play design broke down, so he needed a good OC. Sloan was AWFUL. I don't think people fully realize just how bad he was. No QB, outside of maybe a guy who could just take off and run regardless of the play call, was going to have success. Just listen to Hester, Flynn, and others who played the game at the highest level. They explain just how bad the LSU offensive approach was last season. From a predictable running game with diversity in approach, to a passing game that refused to attack the middle of the field, no one had a chance to really thrive in that offense.

That said, Nuss was still going to be limited in how much success he had because he is apparently uncoachable. I say apparently because he was making the same dumb mistakes last season as he did as a true freshman. The ridiculous spin away from pressure while not being able to outrun the pursuing defender, many times leading to a fumble. The unnecessary throws in to traffic in constant search for big plays. It never got better in 5 years...and you can't think any of that was "coached."

I don't think Lane would have wanted Nuss as his QB. He doesn't fit the profile of guys Lane wanted and had success with at Ole Miss...competent passers with some degree of running ability.

We've moved on, but I truly hope he has a decent run in the NFL. He's a good kid with a great arm and wish him nothing but success.
