Variation of the old "Can Alabama beat the Dolphins?" debate. Not gonna ask if a college team can beat an NFL team but can the best NCAA football team keep it close (think 14 points or lower) with the NFL's worst?

In this scenario, is Burrow still the QB of LSU or is he the QB of the Bengals?

If QB for Bengals, Cincy 85 LSU 13

If QB for Tigers, LSU 127 Cincy -17*

*Bengals see Joe running out of the locker room and concede 17 points out of respect.

Do any of you really believe a college team could beat a NFL team?
If so, you gotta put down the crack pipe

The Bengals have 53 NFL players on their roster.

We have 30 at most - and a lot of them aren't fully grown and developed yet.

We’d have the edge at quarterback, db’s, and right guard. They’d have us everywhere else. I think we could keep it a 2 score game going into the fourth.

YES. People like to laugh and say no way, but LSU and Bama and Ohio St are all loaded top to bottom with guys who will be in the NFL in a few months. Yes, a roster full of almost NFL players can hang with the shittiest NFL teams.

They could line up and run it up the A gap for 8 yards per carry minimum. Any NFL team against any college team would be a war crime. This is the dumbest debate in sports every year.

It would be a massacre and LSU would agree to a running clock to start the 2nd half and probably throw in the towel in the 4tu quarter. We would have trouble with their practice squad.

If you made an Allstar team using the 4 teams in the playoff, and they played the Bengals at a neutral site, the CFB Team would lose 42-14

This is one of those hypotheticals that will never be tested. Truth is the weakest guy on bengals sideline was a stud in college. Bengals would crush. Experience. Coaching. Innate ability. Bengals would roll huge.

Yes they do but they also have more players who will not get a try out for an nfl team. All the players on the Bengals play in the NFL.

NFL scrubs would destroy college all stars.

And apparently most of them aren’t very good.
