So, they are completely fine with CEO's of compainies getting $100 million dollar bonuses and politicians using insider trading information to make millions upon millions, but have a problem with coaches salaries?

Easy response:
Dear Rep. Pascrell,
Worry about your district in New Jersey. Furthermore, eat a dick.
Yours Truly,
Pres. Tate

I'm pretty sure his actual payment from the university us $400,000. The rest is from private donations and incentives. No one is stopping people from donating money to the university for educational reasons. This is a non issue.

It's just a congressional inquiry. No big deal.
But I guess they are picking on LSU and USC because they have the latest big coaching hires.

So just another asshat that doesn't understand that Brian Kelly's salary from LSU is only around $450k, not $10M.
Mind your own fricking business dumbass and quit telling private companies and citizens what to do with their money.

A bunch of meddling, ignorant, activist buffoons attempting to attract media attention to secure reelection and pander to the dullest, most bitter segments of the electorate. Unreal.

Isn’t Alabama the prime example of winning football championships benefiting the entire university? Sure they are.
And for every dollar every dollar Kelly gets from LSU, he has to pay the Feds about 34%. The Feds make out really well.

Maybe he should start by digging into his peers if he is worried about questionable tax benefits , too much money being made on stocks, gaining net worth in the hundreds of millions on a 150 grand salary, etc

"Why should the Federal government subsidize the university’s athletics programs and escalating coaches’ salaries and other non-cash benefits?"
I think this an actual legit question

They didn’t do this when Jimbo got his $70mil deal. I’d argue inflation at this point. Ask then why the prices went up

Pascrell’s letters ask LSU and USC to respond by Jan. 14 to a set of nearly 30, wide-ranging questions about their athletics programs and finances.
Tate’s response should be:

Also. Both CEO and CBK are paying income taxes on this money

Did A&M get a list of questions after Jimbo’s contract?
