Les Miles out coached Satan last year. Deal with it!

Alabama had a better team last year and lost.

Big time fail on number 2!

It's still difficult to say alabama's defense is legit, yes they beat arky, but, is arky even any good? IMO, they aren't. Horrible O-line (that allowed no sacks btw)

Let's see what bama can do to Florida first before we make any conclusions like that.

this goes either way. Completely unpredictable mostly the good kind like in at WVU but sometimes the bad like UTk & OM.

This is the one that I am most worried about. I don't relish playing any football games in the state of Alabama.

If ever there's a time to whip out the secret play book, its during this game. I think everything is a push, except they have home field advantage. Les will come up with something crazy, though. He always does.

1) It's in Alabama. 2) They have the better coach. 3) They are the smarter, less penalized team, and play with relentless speed.

4. Their booth replay monitor has been determined to be inaccurate in its showing of a defender's foot being in bounds on an interception (see LSU game 2009).

Point taken

Different styles, but it's hard to argue with the Hat's record at LSU. I completely disagree that Saban is the better coach. Miles has proven otherwise. He's got a different style, but I'd say they are both great coaches for their respective schools.

LSU also plays with relentless speed, and I don't know how many penalties LSU recieved last weekend, but it wasn't much. This is also bullshite.

Other factors not considered by Cowterd...

- Heart and Desire. Who wants it more, and most teams usually play up to their competition.

- The Hat has two weeks to prepare for the Tide and we all know how LSU performs when it has more than a week to prepare for a big game. They almost always come to play lights out football.

- LSU is as loaded talent wise as is Bama and can rotate fresh legs in throughout the game and not miss a beat.

- LSU's Special teams is something to marvel.

- LSU's Offense looks arguably as good or perhaps better than does Bama's, certainly when you consider the competition they've face to that which Bama has faced.

- LSU has played higher ranked and more talented opponents than has Bama, so you're not judging the two teams on equal footing. Only by playing each other will you be able to truly tell who's the better team.

- It's a heated rivalry game and perhaps between the top two teams in the nation when we play. Nobody is going to give anything but EVERYTHING they have for the full four quarters of football, and it will take just that for either team to win this game, ALL four quarters of football.

But here's the real issue. Both teams have got to get through the rest of their games undefeated before they play for this game to mean what we want it to mean, both LSU and Bama. So until then, it's just idle talk.

until you realize we are one bad ref call (PP7 INT) away from 5 wins in the last 5 trips to Bama. These asshipes do not know this series at all.

Biggest myth on this board. There was NO WAY that year our putrid offense was going 70 yards on Bama's all world defense in a few minutes.

Who cares.

Bama was like 101st in penalties when they won it all a few years back.

Also, we're 4th in Turnover Margin, which is a far more important stat.

Coming from a Florida fan and unbiased look at both teams. Most of my friends go to Bama and my family is in BR. LSU has the better secondary. Bama has better LB's and LSU has the better D-line. The offense is a push really and I really think it will come down to the Refs and the review booth. IMO LSU is just a tad better on a neutral field, but it's at Bama. I just hope we don't lose too bad to Bama this weekend

Colin Cowherd is such an inflammatory blow hard he makes Paul Finebaum look like Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln and the Dali freaking Lama all wrapped up in one. He so vastly contradicts himself multiple times daily its laughable. The guy is a second class hack. He's a poor man's Jim Rome. Why ESPN ever replaced the highly intelligent Tony Cornheiser (sp?) with this clown I'll never know.

Number 1 reason Bama may beat LSU in Tuscalosa & 1 reason only, The Referee's can be bought in Alabama, ask Patrick Peterson.

That putrid offense had drives of 91 and 59 yds that game. So 'myth' may not be the word you meant to use.
