LSU will not score.
Someone please tell me why I'm wrong.
We have more honey badgers on the team than they do.

1) It's in Alabama.
2) They have the better coach.
3) They are the smarter, less penalized team, and play with relentless speed.
The overwhelming majority of college football fans outside of this board would agree with these three premises. Doesn't mean we'll lose, but Cowherd's opinions aren't irrational or radical.

We have a big advantage at qb.... and if anyone can't see that by now, u probably never will....
speed....really? While slab. has speed on D, what...lsu doesn't?
Hostile evviroment....really? See our 3 road victories(not so much dallas)
It will be an epic game!

Cowherd just might be gay if you ask me, seems a little feminine.

11/16/2002 at Alabama, we were coached by Nick Saban.
In 2009 the only team Bama shut out was UT Chattanooga, LSU BTW scored the most on them at Bama and that was with a crappy offense and losing out QB and top RB during the game.

So the only thing that's changed from last year...according to his opinion...is the location, amirite?
And how did that turn out?
This year's LSU team has an actual honest to god balanced offense, and an even better defense.
LSU is obviously the better team.

It is funny you bring this up. Lou Hotlzzz came on the show and said Bama is better bc they create MORE turnovers. Someone has been wearing the hounds-tooth shaded glasses.
However, I still think it is splitting hairs at this point to really say who is better.

Why do you people still care what Cowturd says?

don't forget he also said they have a better QB.
It's funny, didn't they have the same "better" coach last year? And, they definitely had the better qb last year.......
He also makes light of our schedule, saying we play a cupcake this week and they play florida. He also says he expects bama to win easily and convincingly.......and that bama has a better D also. I guess he hasn't done his homework to see that in the last 30 games Les hasn't lost by more than single digits.
Those that listen to colin though know that when he gets an idea in his head, he will spin it any way he can to make it sound right......and if you disagree with him you are a moron. I like his show, but don't like when he gets on one of these kicks where he doesn't let facts support his opinion. Saban and Miles 2-2.....against each other.

Cowherd has all ways been complimentary towards LSU. He just doesn't think we will beat Alabama this year. He even said that LSU and Alabama are far better than any other team in college football this year and it's not even close is how I think
That is fine...that is his opinion. But his reasons were not accurate. Saying they have better qb, I could not disagree more with that. Saying they have better head coach (wasn't he the same coach that got outcoached by miles last year?). Saying they are more discliplined...create more turnovers......LSU leads in creating turnovers, and have more playmakers.
I dont' know who wins the game. I do think LSU is much improved on offense from last year, and better on defense. Bama may be better on defense than last year, but their O is not. They still have not played anyone (arky will lose at least 4 this year...watch).
He also made fun of the schedule thing. They both play in SEC, yet LSU plays two teams outside sec that may very well each finish 11-1 and win their conference......he is way off on that argument as well. Doesn't matter...his show, he spins it like he wants. FWIW...he is wrong a lot.

Not sure why people get up in arms about this. He makes some decent, generic points anyone could make....
Because his 1st "reason" - That the game is in Alabama - historically hasn't been a factor with LSU winning 4 of the past 5 in Tuscaloosa with the only loss being a close one to the 2009 NC team and tainted by a huge and pivotal blown call that went against LSU.
Because his 2nd "reason" is a matter of personal opinion that cannot be substantiated by any irrefutable statistical data since 2005, during both coaches career record in the SEC or between the 2 coaches head to head over the past 4 years.
As for his 3rd reason - most penalties are less the result of a lack of discipline than they are the result of an action that occurs in the heat of competition. Holding, false starts, pass interference, clipping are more the result of competition than lack of discipline. We'll see if Alabama can limit their penalties when they take on bigger, faster SEC opponents like Florida and LSU. It's not a coincidence that Bama had 2 penalties each against North Texas and Kent State but had 5 against their toughest opponent to date in Arkansas. Cowher is a moron if he thinks the difference of a few penalties is bigger factor than the discrepancy in QB experience.

Even a moron like Cowherd should be able to see that turnover differential is a bigger factor than penalties...but I guess this slipped his mind.

The part about being in Bama is valid. As long as the SEC office is there, they will get a few calls per yer, usually at opportune times that will give them a victory.
