Think to make it as an NFL kicker you have to just have next level leg strength or a record of near-perfect accuracy.

He'll definitely get a shot with some NFL team. How it goes from there we'll just have to wait and see.

It'll be interesting. With all of the missed extra points this year, maybe he can sell himself as automatic from that distance?

He doesn't have the range that the elite NFL kicker do, unfortunately. I guess it also depends if he would have to handle kickoff duty.

My guess is that he will get passed up by people with a stronger leg, which they will take over his accuracy. But I wish him the best, obviously.

I don't think so. There are only a handful of open spots each year and a ton of free-agents with experience. Plus, and with a few exceptions, the NFL has gravitated away from the 5'10" 170 lb kicker. If all things are equal, they want the 6'2" 220 lb guy.

Remember, Cole does not handle KO duty and NFL teams do not have roster space for a guy to handle KO only.

If Wade Richey can make an NFL roster, Tracy surely has a pretty good chance.

he doesn't have much distance at all. his deep kicks are all too low and would get blocked in the pros (surprising to me that they don't get blocked now)

Has there been any buzz about him attracting NFL scouts?

He’s deadly accurate and has a good not great leg. Seems a lot of nfl teams would be interested in someone who’s automatic from 50 and in and pretty good from 50-55

He doesn't have NFL leg strength. I doubt he would make a preseason roster unless he somehow adds length.

His leg really isn’t strong enough to be an NFL kicker at this point.

He has shown he maxes out in the low 50’s.

Nothing but respect for Tracy, but to say he is automatic at 50 is just wrong. He missed his last two that were 50+. He also missed the FG against Bama which was under 40. Call that an anomaly if you want, but that was quite unimpressive.

Cole Tracy is much better than Colt David, Luster. That doesn’t mean he’ll make the NFL. But Colt David gets more overrated as time goes by.

I think he will get a shot but can he reach the end zone on kickoffs?

If he is much better then he is clearly an nfl kicker

His accuracy has been better but they will have the same limitation that prevents them from making the

Kicking in the NFL is a different monster than it was a decade ago.
