Wait…they have their rotation set, and you think they’ll pitch off for games 1 and 2 and save their ace for a game that may not happen? You honestly think a team would lose game 1 and decide to not use their available ace for game 2?
lol

This really isn’t that hard to understand but sadly I’m not surprised that some of you struggle with the most basic concepts.
I agree.
4 Super Regional appearances, 2 CWS appearances, and a title does not make you "one of the most premier, most successful college baseball programs in the entire country."
Virginia has been far better than that and they aren't really considered one of the most premier college baseball programs in the country.

LSU has been to 22. I think the phrase you were looking for was “almost as many times.”

Do you consider these teams to be Cinderella teams in basketball:
Texas
Arizona
UCLA
Xavier
Wisconsin
Kentucky
Purdue
OSU
Syracuse

I watched their game against Oregon State. They’re nothing special. Oregon State botched that game with errors, walks, and HBP’s
Give Coastal credit for taking advantage and closing the deal, but you are correct. OSU melted down at the end of that game. It was bad. Self-inflicted error after self-inflicted error.

or would you consider a 4 seed advancing in the NCAA tournament a cinderella? because that’s basically what they are.

The same SEC that embarrassed itself in the regionals?
Yet the SEC was the only conference to put 2 teams in the field, and the only reason it wasn’t 3 was because they put 2 against each other in the Supers.
If they didn’t have all 3 of us Arkansas and UT on this side of the bracket, you know damn well what the odds say would be happening starting tomorrow- 2 SEC teams facing off in the Finals yet again.
The SEC was no more overrated than anyone else this season.

After LSU did the same exact thing lol

That doesn’t answer my question
Nevermind. I thought you were OP and didn’t understand your response at first.

I dont think we disagree on the point.
i would say no (maybe Xavier) unless they were like 12 seeds or lower.
but Coastal isn’t cinderella.
They’re a top 16 seed and they’ve won a CWS in the past 10 years.

Nah, that was Murray State.
Coastal also isn't one of most successful programs in the country, they're more similar to Southern Miss or someone.

That's an odd criterion. That's like saying Indiana State wasn't a Cinderella in '79 when they lost to Magic's Michigan State team. Just because a Cinderalla story starts before the tournament doesn't mean it's not a Cinderella story.

Said it many times. Change your user name and just jump ship already.
