Just checked again and I thought Iowa State had one loss but they’re undefeated, so alas. Win against Ole Miss and get respect basically.

Who cares right now... will we win the big games, ...like starting this Saturday? That's why we play the game. Today's polls are like false gods; there's no substance to them until they encounter the fire.

We win out, we’re in. Very simple actually.

Sportswriters, who generally rely on others' advice, are reluctant to admit how badly they screwed up the initial rankings.

10 or 13 doesn’t matter today. Win and the rankings take care of themselves.

Losing to USC looks terrible.

So Missouri loses to a top 25 team and falls like 15 spots. Alabama loses to an unranked historically bad program and moves 4 spots?

Seems legit….

Does it look worse than losing to Vandy? But I guess if you’re Alabama, you get a pass.

Bama and Tennessee getting embarrassing losses and barely dropping spots is hilarious. Watch if LSU gets a tough loss to LSU they'll drop 10 spots.

A little better than a loss to arky or at home to UK. Much better than a loss to northern Illinois or vandy.

Alabama lost by 5 and were competitive.
Missouri lost by 31 and the game was over at halftime.
