Shouldn’t the team be pushed hard and pushing themselves hard to win every off season? That’s kind of the point right? You know every other team in the SEC is busting it right now to get ready for the season

Exactly! This team has no room to sit idle. One of hardest schedules in nation, a great defense that cannot be wasted with offensive struggles. I like hearing this, and I am not an O fan

Not really, but the fact of the matter is O is feeling the heat as he should be. Good or bad he owns it and he better provide results.

They need to work hard. Looked totally unprepared to start last season.

BOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO

Having to work hard at a D1 program. If this is the type of respect the players have for 0 then he will be gone with quickness

This tough preparation had better work, if it does bring more wins, then the coaches job is secure, if it doesn’t then he’s lost the team and he’s gone after this year.

Doesn't sound like fun. Hell, its never sounded fun. But everyone knows that tough games in November are won months before in conditioning and weight training.

Uh yeah. People complained all of the time that Miles worked guys too hard.

The issue with Miles was he worked them too hard on game week and they had dead legs for the game. Off season conditioning is supposed to be a grind.

The famous O panic. He’ll grasp tightly to every facet. Maybe he’s learned his lesson from his Ole Miss days though.

I have no problem with the head coach pushing his players to be winners.

He wasn’t having fun, players are being pushed hard to win this year.

I really would love to know who the player is that said this. He is the type that needs to go elsewhere. That is a losers mindset. You're playing SEC football and the practices and conditioning should be brutal. I guarantee the Bama and UGA players are working their asses off.

You think working the kids hard will lead to failure?

Long hours working out, very little to none off time

Sounds professional. That's how the champions (think Bama) roll. That's good news; makes me more confident about how CEO is running the ship.

Who? And even a passion or hobby is frustrating. Give it time; it will pay off.

a successful season would make it all worth it according to the players.

Duh. Is this any different from any other season?

Interesting drama playing out.

What drama?

Where is the news in this post? Where is the complaint?

Oh the horror!!!
Players having to work hard in the off season.
That is inhumane.
They should just loll around eating nachos and drinking beer all summer.

You anti-O drama queens are becoming a comic act.

So a starter is complaining about having to work hard?

That’s not a good sign.

Yup, whether he's being lazy or the coaches are pushing too hard, neither option instills confidence. I think all the signs are there that this is going to be a gut check football season for us.
