He "deserves" no such thing.

5-1 is certainly within the realm of possibilities.

No chance, this team trodded along last week. Not sleptwalked nor a no-show, just slow-mo offpaced and a bit checked out.

Now, no Boutte.

Hell, if I were Woody, I'd accept the bet/challenge of you get 2022 if you can reel off a 5-1 the rest of the way.

Mullen can't afford that 3rd L, and his team ripe for shoe-toss loss revenge, Lane wants to beat O and his team scores a ton, TAM has renewed confidence off Bama win, Ark is a die-hard bunch of 3*s..

Not 4-2, but 5-1 the rest of the way, unlike when the Interim chance at HC agreement was bent for dropping the Gator game at the goal line..it's a bet..

That's how sure I am it can't be done with this team.

I just hope that Coach O gets that chance.

5-1 would be tough - I give it 50/50 at best.

The play level exhibited to date this year suggests ULM and maybe one of Ole Miss or Ark or TAM..at best.

What do you think last year was?

Two years ago, he had the best collegiate football season in NCAA history. Last year was a rough year, but it was one that was unexpected. This is his first full year since the undefeated season. Let's see how it finishes out.

The "fire O" bandwagon bores me.

The teams with established culture and leadership didn’t sorely disappoint. And now we have this very unprepared, seemingly poorly coached, team that, unlike last year and that is key, appears to be performing worse as the year goes on.

The mistakes against the run we had against UCLA were the EXACT same as against Kentucky.

The mistakes against the crossing routes were very similar to last year.

The running game STILL can’t block despite having 4 returning starters and at least two of them being super seniors.

The passing game has regressed, but that may be more on the O Line struggling despite being 4 returning starters and super seniors.

The football season is a race to the finish. We are behind, but that can be fixed.

It is going to be tough to accomplish, but do you really think the LSU Tigers can't do it?

Victory this weekend would turn any morale issues around and have this team at a confident high.

That is a lot of words to say "We are not mathematically eliminated yet." This teams is done. If they win two more games I would be shocked.

The passing game has regressed due to Myles Brennan being out.

Again, Coach O has some issues, but he's not doing a particularly bad job with what he has.

I don't think you understand

this football team doesn't have the goods to turn it around in the SEC...

come on man, let's be realistic about the situation

Look at your latest injuries...

Look at the play calling

Look at the rushing stats on offense and defense

we need a turn around alright but it will be in the off season

You are terrible. You loved Johnny Jones too. They are both horrible coaches that never should’ve been hired by LSU

Dude, I am an O apologist, and I still think he needs to go. I have an autographed copy of his book at my house. I have a signed ‘19 mini helmet with his signature on it. Even after all that, I can confidently say that there is no future here with O in it anymore. Last year the excuses had some merit, and even the ones you bring up here have some. But after that arse-blasting Saturday, I don’t know how anyone can realistically say that this Ed can stay. We have a loaded roster (minus OL), and we get literally nothing done. Kentucky dropped 42(!) points on us Saturday. We have them beat at every position (except OL). The on-field product is absolutely horrible. And even though I’ve supported him, it’s time to point the finger where it should have been this whole time. Just accept this now before you’re forced to in November.

I don’t mind him not being officially fired until the end of the season for several reasons, but if you think O has the capability to turn this around, I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.

He is incapable. The problems on this team are deep rooted and more than just X’s and O’s. We are also now without our two best players for the rest of the schedule and playing the best teams in the SEC coming up. 4-8 is very realistic, if not probable.

NOW I KNOW WITH ALL CERTAINTY THAT YOU ARE DEREK!!! I always it was about Johnny Jones. You wanted Jones to stay to put your father in the shadow. I can’t believe I never caught that.

Why don’t you talk about Coach Kim? We know why…
