Has nothing to do with you claiming that losing 3-4 games a year wouldn't have gotten Miles fired if LSU were throwing for 300+ yards per game.

Nice try.

Doesn’t seem like something Les could have fixed in an off season.

You’re saying there was an offense that could have gotten more out of Harris? Even though he was talented?

He’s gonna make Harris more talented?

We’ve discussed this

You think

Talent
Experience
Scheme

I think

Talent

Experience

That's probably true...it's just not the fricking point.

Had we won with that shitty offense...and we'd won PLENTY with it before, we'd have been 4-0 with the same shitty offense.

Would many people have been unhappy? Sure! LSU fans bitched during the 2011 run. but unless losses started to pile up, Alleva was never going to pull the cord. Miles made it easy by losing those 2 games.

I love the idea that people are ignoring the flip-side of this argument...which is that he'd have been fired with a boring but winning offense or that he'd have been kept around with a losing but entertaining one.

It's hilarious to watch this level of intellectual dishonesty.

We wouldn’t have lost 2 games with a healthy LF7

Because we wouldn't have lost those two games in 2016 had Les had a decent QB and passing game.

Myth

LF had over half of LSU's yardage vs Wisconsin

How is it speculation? We lost both by less than a TD while scoring less than 15 points in each.

I've made that point plenty of times.

People can't think for themselves. They continue to parrot the nonsense that he was fired because he didn't make changes to the offense. No, he was fired because he LOST. What offense we were running was incidental. If we were running Air Raid and lost he still would've been fired.

I honestly don't get the point here.

Intuitively, we all assume that had LSU ever put together a Top 15 type offense we'd have won even more games. That is, at the end of the day, Miles' biggest issue. Not winning even more than he did. Underachieving, not failing to achieve.

And yet, we won a shite ton with usually bad offenses. It was only as losses began to pile up that a change became possible.

WHY the losses were happening is not more important than the losses. If it were, then we'd be suggesting that losses plus entertaining offense would be fine. It's moronic.
