How is it speculation? We lost both by less than a TD while scoring less than 15 points in each.

Do you know what the word speculation means?

If Miles had another second on the clock he might still be here. At best that's a stretch saying that the offense was the reason he didn't have that second.

It was only as losses began to pile up that a change became possible.

Why were were losing these games?

Offensive ineptitude.

So you think Miles is still the coach at LSU if he's still losing 3-4 games every year as long as the offense throwing for 4,000 yards and 40 TDs?

That's all some of them want. To be able to throw the football.

I personally don't give a flying frick if the offense runs for 400 yards a game and only passes for 100, or vice versa. And I don't give a frick if we win every game 14-10 or 35-30.

As long as we win the games.

But some on here would be content to just be able to throw the ball more efficiently. That's all that seems to matter to them.

If, if if..

You can't score 13 and 14 and expect to win...

The game changes if you are throwing 300+ yard per game. Hundreds of teams lose every year throwing 300+ yards per game. Again, the offensive production is pointless next to the loss in the scenario we are talking about.

Miles is still here with an 80th ranked offense and a 4-0 start to the year.

Because we wouldn't have lost those two games in 2016 had Les had a decent QB and passing game.

Well, you don't have to throw for 300 a game.

You just need to be able to throw when it's necessary

Miles 2015 team and 2016 team could not do that

You don't think there's a difference between developing a passing game and praying for one second?

He also lost more games than the accepted standard, that was the bigger problem than the offense.

Question: Would you have been unhappy with the 2016 start if we are 4-0 with a below average offense? Or would you have been excited about 2 wins over top 15 teams?

I think it's hilarious that you think your hypotheticals are somehow more relevant than someone else's.

Because we were 2 years out from an NC appearance and SEC Championship. He still had some good will from....winning.
