If anything he came across as pretty humble in interviews when discussing what went wrong at Ole Miss. He blamed it on himself. He said he went to mentors and asked for advice, he said he looked at other coaches and decided to do what he saw players responding well to.

Selling himself. Nothing more.

His goal is not to make LSU the best program it can be, but for his peers to inflate his own ego by validating him as a good coach.
If O had learned from his failures, he would have passed on the HC job. People like O are bad employees because they undermine the boss. He thinks he's a HC, when it's clear he's a career position coach. This failure will hurt O big time.

For him to say that about his kicker has me convinced he is back on the sauce or out of his mind. Say that shite about your O-line-maybe they will start hitting somebody. Kicking is mental and he needs to stay out of his kicker's head. Go Tigers.

He also said that Alleva was the greatest AD he's ever worked for.

I understand you want to bash O, but him saying he believes in himself is not even close to narcissism. Now when I say, you are an absolute idiot, that is fact. Learn what narcissism is before you talk smack and are wrong about your main subject

Narcissists can be successful people. Success, or in this case - winning, changes perception. O hasn't been a successful leader, isn't currently one, and probably will never be one.

People in power tend to be a narcissist. In other words, water is wet.

Constantly talks about himself when asked about the team's struggles.

"I earned the job."
"I believe in myself."

He said these in response to a direct question/statement that a) declared that many fans were unhappy with the firing of Miles and the hiring process and b) openly asked him if he was the right guy to fix the problems.

Criticizing Orgeron is like shooting fish in a barrel. Why the hell do you feel the need to twist and be intellectually dishonest in your argument.

His response to the caller made sense and was appropriate. If the caller had asked/complained about something generic and Orgeron had started talking about himself, that would be one thing. But, that didn't happen.

Maybe say something like, I understand the frustrations, but I promise I will fight like hell as the head coach to improve this football team.
