A little unappreciative maybe?

He brought in a Heisman Trophy winner.

The best most magical season in the history of LSU football.

And our 4th National Championship.

He is a big Tiger supporter, an elite recruiter, a fine DL coach, and I think he’s exorcised his personal and professional demons.

I want him in the mix, but not as HC or DC. And I think he’s humbled enough to accept and excel that role.

Geaux Tigers!

Honestly, I don’t care about him decimating the program anymore. Not after today, and the Lane Train rolling into town.

If Lane wants O, bring on O!

I’ll take O as DL Coach, and a main recruiting role.

He has a massive personality, he puts even more eyes on LSU, the storyline and redemption arc can be speical, and O gets dudes fired up!

O assembled the greatest CFB team of all time, and now we can have him as our Frickin D-line coach? Let’s ride.

The closest he should be to this program is buying a ticket to a game in Tiger Stadium

Then the same should be said for that pos Ryan Clark.

17 million I think. Of course he had to split it with his wife and he is in the last year of his buyout.

While you’re crying, give him a nod for 2019. No Coach O, no 2019. It was glorious.

Kyle leaving on his own. I think the college coaching grind isn’t what he wants.

Dude made $58 million in the NFL. Unless he just always wanted to coach, I wouldn't either.

Not to mention the fact the he covered up sexual abuse of his players to young women. Yet idiots on this site want him back.

Why the hate? Throw a stone man. Lane mentioned O today in his presser. Kiffin loves O. If Lane wants O then great. O loves LSU and will work his arse off for LSU and Lane.

I’m from Ruston and worked with Kyle’s dad for many years so I know them both. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kyle landed somewhere in the NFL one day. Nor would I be surprised if he went back to playing golf at Squire Creek and coaching some at Ruston High. Most don’t know it but big Kyle is a scratch golfer. Man he can drive a ball. Kyle is a different kind of cat though. He has plenty of money to do whatever he wants. Would love to see him stay at LSU though if that’s what our new coach desires. From what I hear the kids he was recruiting liked him a lot. I know the players respect him. Hard not to respect him if you ever met him in a private setting. Truly a great likable man. Wherever he lands I’ll always be an admirer of him. Just a great guy.

In about 2013, I was working at the Lambright. Over some postseason break he was there a few times over the course of about a week shooting basketball by himself. He was clearly a big dude from afar, almost out of place big to be playing basketball.

To my memory, I swear he dunked the ball, or came at least close. He could dribble and shoot. Smooth as a greased up German car, spinning and jump shooting. MF'er is an athlete.

Be honest. My high school english teacher could've coached that team to the natty. Did he recruit? yeah. Did he pull Burrow from Ohio? Yeah. Let's not act like he was some game day genius, or even a program builder. The two years after that proved this to be true.

This all started with him. The only reason he wants to coach is we are about to be done paying him

The only two non-winning seasons this century, horrible coaching hires, left the team depleted. You left that one out.

you left out:

never turned fanbase apathetic like miles by staying way too long past expiration date

never wasted talent & multiple teams that coulda won nattys like miles

fought tons of opt outs and BLM and players who quit on him thanks to ryan clark.

I will take O any fricking day over les miles. YERD ME?

Well, you're a fat bastard so...

I lean toward Miles, but 2019 was remarkable. I wouldn't trade either of them, they both brought me great highs, even if great lows were part of the bargain

Kyle can dunk the ball no doubt in his youth. Probably still can. Man you ought to see his dad. Good grief Kyle has some serious genetic blessings.
