I dont have a clue about divorce filings
but is there any relevancy to who actually files? Is there an option to do it jointly?

just a divorce? no
it can help with some very specific custody issues if a war is brewing

not that i know of, but it can be done outside of court where it's effectively "joint" in spirit
LA is time-based so it's about time spent apart

A couple can file jointly but in a majority of the filings, there is one party asking for the divorce. And there is usually an aggrieved party, and with Coach O "giving" her the house in Mandeville", i.e.taking a proactive position, it would seem he is the aggrieved party.

i'd have to read the whole petition but it just seems like this was planned and each is getting exclusive use of one community residence

I'm sorry to hear this regardless of how it affects anything football.
I always thought it was classy the way she would be beside him in post game interviews.

Anyone else bummed out by this?

Not really “bummed” but I don’t like that it’s a story. I understand why but I find it off putting. It’s their personal life.

It's not our place to characterize their divorce. If the divorce is for the best, then it's not sad.
There’s a comedian who talks about this. Basically, happy people don’t get divorced. So don’t feel sorry for people who get divorced.

Agreed - it’s their business. It Would be tough to have my business out in the public.

I always thought the hot blonde with LSU at the white house dancing with the players......just seemed odd to me

It's still difficult for the kids even though they are older. Ed O says he is a family guy who just enjoys being with his wife and kids, so it's sad for those reasons since he just celebrated big wins by just going home and being with them.
His wife has been a sickly person throughout her life and said she has had so many surgeries that she has lost count. She had to wear a serious brace for almost 24 hours per day for about 3 years, so I could certainly see where the pill addiction rumor could be true. I wouldn't judge her for it either. People get hooked all the time when they need them for pain. It's extremely hard to stop once a person is addicted and she has had to deal with a lot of physical challegnes in her life.

Am I crazy or does Ed O and his wife's celebration after the natty look forced? See at seconds 7-10. I feel like something similar happened after a few games.
Here's a picture of them from after the game. They are both holding on pretty tight IMO.

Right. People are confusing filing for divorce with getting a Judgment of divorce
