virtually today.
You can check it out at their facebook page.

He ran down the team position by position and took a few questions for anyone interested.
Not too much new information but worth a look for starved college football fans.

A few notes:
He singled out RB Bradford true fr
Mentioned Shanahan again at C with Hines at G or possibility of swapping them as well. High on the three fr as well. No mention of Kardell Thomas or Bradford.
At DE he mentioned Anthony, Oujlari and Webb on one side and Justin Thomas, Gaye and Travez Moore on the other side - no mention of TK McClendon which I found intesting.
First two DT mentioned were Shelvin and Logan and was high on the three freshmen Roy, Guilloru and Taylor.
At LB discussed Jabril Cox and Clark and high on the Fr in White and Sampah
At CB he listed all of them and sounded like Flott was preparing to play the nickel role.
At S the highlight was that Fr Jordan Toles was up to 220.
The fan questions were pretty generic nothing noteworthy.

Ended it with GEAUX TIGERS!

Justin Thomas, Gaye

Are we expecting Gaye to be pretty good for us? It would be pretty big if he was. Love his measurables. Reminds me of the Hill/Spears glory days.

He’s not wrong. The defense was straight up bad parts of last year. Several of the calls being puzzling at best.

Ole Miss game and the last Bama TD were all you needed to see to understand that Aranda was expendable

It was but also peaked at the end(which every team strives for)after everyone got healthy. They kept us in the Clemson game through 1 and a half quarters. I think the ineptness of the defense, while it has some validity, is grossly overstated. A few calls were certainly bad and the OM game was a disaster in many ways.

Toles might be our next 1st round LB after Cox if he keeps growing.

Texas
Vanderbilt (sort of)
Florida
Alabama
Ole Miss

All games the defense made things a lot harder than they needed to be. Especially Florida. Our points per play that game....could have scored close to 70 if the defense could have gotten off the field. And I still don't get what we were doing on that last TD vs Bama.

Expendable because at LSU you know you can always get a good coach. However, while LSU didn't have a great defense last year, they were objectively a good defense. And they were great when it mattered.

The concerning thing to me was some of the calls in the Bama game late and early in the game when Stingley was looking at the sideline and Devonta Smith blew right past him.

The Ole Miss game was a second half hangover but no excuse not to have players in position to stop the same play Rodriguez kept running. Reminded me of the Fla game the year before when Franks kept running that same play that Aranda couldn't stop that ultimately won the game for them.
Mullen always seemed a step ahead of Aranda, even in the 2019 game in Tiger Stadium.

Does this mean that Vincent is moving to safety and Ricks to corner or is flott just going to be a back up?

Mickey Joseph was on OTB a few weeks ago and said how Brady was always saying "lets not over coach the talent". Aranda's scheme was very cerebral and kind of took the guys out of their games.

I was hoping Flott could play on the outside with Stingley with Ricks being the first one off the bench so that Vincent could stay at the nickel spot which he absolutely thrived in last year especially late. Regardless we are absolutely loaded in the secondary. Also did he say anything about safety? My thinking is Stevens at SS and Hampton at FS.
