I’m all for new coaches. I just don’t think Moffitt is the first guy you cut ties with. Just looks shitty and as if he is the problem, since he is first. He’s going to go somewhere else now & win a championship. Bama or Florida or somewhere like that. Kelly better get this right & win quick

Sad to see him go.

Coach Moffitt was responsible for me getting a job with the athletic department when I was at LSU in 2002. He was friends with my aunt and gave me a hook up. He was a legit nice dude.

Moffit was responsible for physically developing some of the greatest athletes to ever come through LSU’s weight room. Namely, Chad Jones.

I thought Mofffitt was a very good S&C coach. If CBK thinks he can upgrade, go for it. Nothing wrong with improvement.

But to dispel some of the fertilizer:
1) Moffitt wasn't doing a very good job and our players were just weak or out of shape.

- Our players always did good in the Combine and Pro Days. There were no glaring disparities even against Bama players who dominated us. Moffitt wasn't the problem or even a problem. he's just taking the fall for years of lousy offense schemes.

- CBK became HC at ND in 2010. 2011 would've been his first NFL draft. If there's any position ND would be expected to have an advantage over us it's OL. From 2011-2021 ND had 9 OL drafted. SAME as us. And that's not counting La'El or Chris Faulk. Perhaps ND had similar situations with which I'm not familiar.

2) That we need a complete purge and culture change. I would argue that there are tons of things we have been doing well from Saban-to-Miles-O. Use some DISCERNMENT. Where we can improve do it. But simply purging coaches for the sake of "change of culture" is BS.

Does 2019 fall within the "last few years" for you?

Amazing how in 2018 we got pushed around then changed the scheme in 2019 and we did the pushing.

Well since we have one of these for Moffitt, I think we need one for Tiger Ree.

Ed Ingram was a bitch all year because they fired James Cregg & that was the only reason he came back to school. I don’t believe anything he says

Or just because he is the new coach and wants to make a statement by getting rid of all the coaches.

They did. Look how many hands on hips you would see from deculus and hines.

And how does that reflect on Moffitt in any way? He can only work with what he is given and try to turn that into what the coaches want in terms of size, strength, and speed.

I think Kelly will turn out to be great for LSU, but I fear this was his first grave mistake.

They were getting pushed into the backfield by mcneese and central Michigan Lester.

Give it up. The game passed moffett by a long time ago.
