He’s not gonna get fired this year or the next year. He is gonna get a chance to get this ship going in the right direction. It even may take 3 years to get it right but damn give this man a chance! The same 50 damn people get on here everyday and post the same stuff every damn day. Quit it. Put your energy towards somewhere else and just support this university. It makes it hard for some people that gets on this site to get away from work or the wife or the side piece cause she’s nagging on your arse cause You haven’t cut her yard yet or haven’t helped her son with that damn math test. No one knows whether CMM is a good coach, or not. If you base it on this season, yes, it is not good.
He will have 2 more seasons for sure, so let's see what the man can do. Firing a first year coach, after what this program has gone through....will deter many potential coaches, which is not good either.

MM has already shown he’s over his head and next year will be even worse bc the recruiting class is bad and KJ will be gone.
The faster MM is gone, the less time it’ll take a real SEC caliber coach to get MBB back on track.

He's not going anywhere. It's just not a possibility.
But, there's no real argument to keep him.
I think there's a decent chance that he's tasked with replacing 100% of this roster again. What is the recruiting class looking like for next year?
He took over a disaster. But, he hasn't accomplished even a minimal step forward.

It will be apparent before SEC begins next year that we are over matched. Unless he can get Ja to come back in the transfer portal, we are f@#$ed.

It don’t matter what any of us think, the dude isn’t getting fired anytime soon. Nobody’s paying a Coach O type buyout to a basketball coach. May as well get used to having the guy around.

If the writing is on the wall and the contract is guaranteed, you're paying it either way. It makes little sense to lose revenue while you're paying the same expense whether you fire him year 1 or year 6 of the contract.

Well, if the team could play defense and make shots we’d be celebrating a middle of the pack finish instead of what we have now. We need better players.
