Many LSU fans cannot even recall LSU's last two coordinators' names

It is so refreshing to hear how a high quality and proven football coach like Coach Kelly frames his football thoughts

I agree. He does need to be careful as a public figure speaking above the vocabulary level of the average fan. That can turn against someone who has lots of sounds bites through the years. They tend to come off arrogant.

The average fan can read a book and improve their vocabulary. He does not need to "speak down" to anyone's level.

The fact that the bolded line is being uplifted as some example of high-level vocabulary or thinking is a sad indictment on our society.

Or it could just be a sad indictment on our previous two coaches. OP probably still can’t believe it’s the LSU head coach talking like that. I know I can’t. That’s pretty much how I’m looking at his post.

I mean LSU has been deprived of a head coach who articulates things clearly on a consistent basis for 18ish years.
