Coach Aranda - Speaking of Coach Orgeron

"I have so much respect for Coach O, and I mean that in the way he handles the team," Aranda said. "The team loves him."
Had to make this comment from Bayou into a thread. Great thing for Aranda to say, and a great thing to be said about any leader of young men.
His players put 100% out on that field today. One pf my all-time favorite hardnose football games.

One day Aranda will be a HC. Hopefully for LSU, but the way players love O is one of the few things he can take away. Obviously there’s more to the game than Xs and Os.
Win-win for LSU. Glad these baws are in purple and gold.

Aranda is 2 years away from being the DC of the Dallas cowboys

I’m going to just come right out and say it.
Until Aranda leaves and Orgeron proves he can replace him with his own successful hire, I won’t be convinced he is the long term answer this program needs.
He inherited one of the brightest up and coming stars in the coaching ranks and this team is winning due primarily to him imo.
I am thrilled with this win and how this team looks poised for great things this season, but the doubt for long term success will linger because Aranda is simply too good to stay here much longer.
I hate it but that’s the truth.

I don’t understand your comment.

Aranda has always had an uncanny and almost supernatural ability to make just the right adjustments at halftime and throughout the second half. Today was no different.
I was working and only getting to check tScoreboard every 20 minutes or so, but saw tons of people calling for Aranda's head. Actually saying fire him.
Now again, I wasn't watching live, but I was seriously thinking, 'can it really be that bad?' No, it can't be bad enough for me to want Aranda fired, unless we were to let a team like Morehed State hang a hundy-burger on us.

I refuse to believe you saw anyone calling to fire Aranda

Is Aranda not a huge part of this team’s success??
Did O hire Aranda?

Coach Aranda is THE star of LSU football. I am so impressed with him. The Tiger D looked done after a horrible 2nd quarter but he made adjustments and they played lights out the rest of the way. They would have shut Auburn out the 2nd half if not for that stupid fake punt giving Auburn the ball at midfield. Whatever it takes, LSU has to keep him.

All the while, sofa couch Joe Message board poster here disrespects this staff to the point of embarassment because he says O doesn’t deserve the job

Good thing Miles had the foresight to bring Aranda aboard. He's been our most valuable coach by far. No telling where we'd be without him.

He REHIRED him and paid him more than any assistant in the NCAA. Give credit where credit is due
